Book Drunk

Book Drunk:the feeling one gets after reading a boat load of amazing books.

Yeah, I'm there.

Between the kindle and my bookshelves I've become book drunk. I love the amount of books I run across and have the ability to read. The love and care that went into each and every book.

Today I'm celebrating.

All the books I've been able to read over the past year and a half. The authors that got me back into reading. All the signings I've been blessed to go to, the authors I've gotten to hear stories from. How everyone got their start. The bloggers who work their hearts out in all their posts and WiP's.

What are you celebrating today?

I need to hang out here more often. Personally, I'm in the midst of being just the tiniest bit overwhelmed.

But, as I always say--This too shall pass.

Are you loving your Kindle?!

Just curious--what would a Book Hangover look like :) It would be fun if you let us know if your cool Book Drunk turns into a killer hangover, and what exactly that looks like!

Yes- it's lots of fun. Glad you have the time to also be a reader of so many books and ebooks. I'm happy to be living in Florida where I shall get some time at the beach today...

and do some editing on my second novel, titled Cass. Have a great day.

I love your celebration and think I'll join in celebrating the whole book process, from writing to reading. And the warmer, sunny day too :)

This is great, calling yourself book drunk. Very cute. I'm celebrating Demonglass because I just finished reading it. I've still got scenes and characters swirling around in my head. Until that dissipates I'll wait on picking up my next book.

You will have to visit my blog later to find out... :P

I know how you feel! I just finished reading Delirium and then started Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly and I am amazed by both.

I've been filling my writing void with reading these last few weeks too. There's nothing like it!

I'm celebrating another great YA novel I'm reading (especially since I was torn between reading it and a sexy romantic suspense). :D

It's funny that you made this term up, because I have a similar one: Drunkbooking. It's like drunk dialing but instead of calling someone, you're facebooking.

What fun!

I'm aware that blogger is having a problem posting comments!!! So If you see yourself a dozen times don't feel foolish! I hate when these things happen!

Blouger is also not allowing me to link my posts to FB!

I'm sorry I called you a blouger blogger. I'm just really frustrated with you right now ;)

On the plus side, Jen you could end up with like a million comments by the end of the day.

Today, I am celebrating having AWESOME friends. (Like you, my sparkly little ray of sunshine, who never fails to bring the light into my life - no matter what the weather is doing!)

Being Book Drunk ROCKS!!!! I wish I could join you in your sloshiness! But stupid school!

DONUTS! There's a small family-owned bakery near my husband's work that makes the most delicious homemade donuts on Fat Tuesday (aka: Mardi Gras) every year. So my husband always buys a bunch! I had one this morning and it was heavenly!

I'm always celebrating books, too!

I'm celebrating the fact that I've gone 3 months without a cold. (Fingers crossed). And I'm close to finishing Anna Karenina, which I've been meaning to read for...let's just say many, many moons. :)

That's a great way to put it. I'm celebrating the fact that I'm going to fix a problem in the first few pages of my ms tonight. (At least that's what I'm telling myself right now.)

I am celebrating air conditioning! And a day off since I'm under the weather (again). A boat load of groceries from Trader Joe's. A snoring dog. And the books that are on their way here from barnesandnoble.com!

I love the saying "book drunk"!!
It's so perfect for me right now, since I just got myself a Kindle and I'm so excited about it I could just about pee myself.

I never thought that I would go Kindle, but I've got to say that I'm kind of loving it.

What a fun reason to celebrate! I'm celebrating that Desires of the Dead by Kimberly Derting is pulling me out of a book slump (Demonglass helped, of course!)
