Click for love stories....

Happy Monday!!!

Winner from last weeks giveaway of Best Staged Plans is - Carolyn V. (I'll be emailing you!)

I've decided to switch things up the blog for a bit. I'll be sharing reviews, truths (can't give that one up), how to create a platform, and what's up in the query world.

So I guess not a whole lot is changing, however, starting Septemeber 1st you'll be seeing a lot more of me! As I start to query I'll have more time to outline and talk to all my peeps!!!

I know! I know! You missed me as I have missed you!!!

Let's get started. Today I'm sharing a wonderful read that everyone should get their hands on... and lucky enough for me -- I have a copy to giveaway! Ebook style! So after my review if you're interested in winning just leave your email!!!! I'll select the winner next week!

Click: An Online Love Story by Lisa Becker

Blurb: “Fast approaching her 30th birthday and finding herself not married, not dating, and without even a prospect or a house full of cats, Renee Greene, the heroine of Click: An Online Love Story, reluctantly joins her best guy pal on a journey to find love online in Los Angeles. The story unfolds through a series of emails between Renee and her best friends (anal-compulsive Mark, the overly-judgmental Ashley and the over-sexed Shelley) as well as the gentlemen suitors she meets online. From the guy who starts every story with “My buddies and I were out drinking one night,” to the egotistical “B” celebrity looking for someone to stroke his ego, Renee endures her share of hilarious and heinous cyber dates. Fraught with BCC’s, FWD’s and inadvertent Reply to All’s, readers will root for Renee to “click” with the right man.”

My thoughts (because they count worth something): I'm a sucker for a great love story! Knowing that Lisa took a lot her own online experience as guidance to this wonderful read I couldn't help but connect even more with the character. No, I have never met a love online (unless you count bloggers - yes I love you all), but I think that Renee was a very relateable character!!

I'm a sucker for uniqueness, so when I opened up this read and it was made entirely of emails I was in love!! If you're looking for a light, fun, chatty read this is the book for you. She focuses more on the love in her life versus the social - friends and family side of life. Though some may find this bothersome I thought it was fun how it was always about the complications of love.

After all, isn't that what the title warns you of? So if you're looking for a end of summer read I encourage you to snag yourself a copy! You won't be disappointed!!!
As for this giveaway... leave a comment with your email!!!!

You are amazing! I've been struggling with writing a blurb...and you just wrote a fantastic one for CLICK: An Online Love Story. I'm now inspired. And intrigued with the book.

Sounds fun and I like the cover (I always have to comment on the cover!). Like Li said (comment above) I like books that experiment a little with format, like all emails.
