Christmas Treats #1

Santa’s Naughty List
Christmas Spirit

Genre: Contemporary Heat

Tagline:

Cross a Christmas phobic male with a caterer with Christmas bells on...can she ignite the Christmas spirit in him?

Blurb:

What the hell had just happened? One minute he was in heaven tasting the sweet nectar of the gods. The next the little vixen was running down the subway stairs. Harry pulled his wits together and gave chase. The turnstile wouldn’t budge. He was about to jump it when a voice said, “I wouldn’t if I was you. It’s a serious crime to steal from the Commonwealth. Buy a pass if you want to ride the train.”

Harry turned to find a T officer standing directly behind him. The man pointed a nightstick toward a row of machines. “You can get one over there in the Charlie machines.”

Card in hand, he was back at the turnstile in time to see the train Elle had jumped on pulling away from the station.

Damn. He didn’t know her last name.

I haven't had mulled cider in years. Maybe I'll have to make me some. :D

Love the answer to 'heat on OR heated blanket?' Totally agree with that answer. My hubby is better than a heated blanket, only I haven't figured out yet how to turn down his setting. He gets too hot sometimes.

Oooh, fun interview! Stina - I'll take heat, I think. And a really soft blanket. I've never had a really soft heated blanket. Instead, we have about 5 of the softest blankets you've ever felt on our couches at home because, no matter what, I am always cold.

And the book sounds like a fun read! I love hearing about new books!

Love the interview. I agree with most of the answers but how the heck do you eat Christmas cookies slowly? I got this anthology and can't wait to dive into the stories.

This was fun to read. Liberty's book sounds exciting. I'm curious about this Christmas phobic male :D

LOL. Ah, Jen . . . you rock! :-)

Loved this interview -- and that excerpt...hubba, hubba. I cram as many Christmas cookies in my mouth as possible at one time, chew and chew and chew, and then follow with a cold milk chaser. Just in case anyone was wondering...

Her answer about heat or heated blanket made me laugh - my wife says I AM her electric blanket because I'm always so warm.

Hot man. LOLOL

I'll have to get a drink with you at the next conference I manage to attend; we can get silly on half a glass of wine each. Yay! Cheap dates!

I love your interviews, Jen. You make me laugh. Except for the elevator question, but I've been stuck in two so that isn't your fault. ;-) How do you eat your Christmas cookies? slowly. Best answer ever!

Thank you all for your wonderful comments. I had hoped to respond sooner, but I was in "Laptop Hell" and have only just re-emerged.

Where in the computer warranties does it explain a computer must give you the "blue screen of death" every Christmas season?

I am now replacing replacement parts!
