Inspiration Found!

NOTE: Thanks to everyone who is following and commenting on Jules and the Stars I appreciate it!!!

GIVEAWAY: A giveaway is happening at my friend Donea's place! Check it out!!!

I don't know if anyone plans to write during the holidays but if you do then I leave you with some inspiration and motivation!!!

  • To be a writer, you must sentence yourself to a life of solitary refinement.
  • A writer may leave off writing for a time. A writer cannot leave off being a writer.
  • A fair number of fiction writers have been avid liars since childhood.
  • Writers have friends, to be sure, but mostly writers have sources.
  • Give the opportunity, a writer will fiddle with a piece of writing forever.
Anything inspire you lately? What have you been working on?

All info found here.

My toddler has been obsessed with dinosaurs lately (as in, she roars at random people at the grocery store), so my head has been in picture book land...don't worry, I know better than to attempt one :)

I LOVE your third bullet point~ I know I certainly enjoyed embellishing the truth when I journaled about family trips as a kid.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I play at writing when it moves me.

I cannot get past shorts so I am doomed to only entertain my followers and my family.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Solitary refinement...wow, both in your characters and personally. Love that.

I'm in query hell. It's like solitary confinement times six because I have no characters to keep me company. Just me, my inbox and the rejections. I'd like to do some major revisions on my first two MS's over the holidays though:)

My daughterling has been both fibbing and writing up a storm lately. Please tell me if I cure her of the former it won't affect the latter.

LOL. My husband told me I'm a lousy liar.

If writing is such a solidary thing, why am I always on email writing to my writing buddings instead of working on my wip? ;)

Have a great Thanksgiving, Jen!

I'm still revising, revising, revising. I'm right there on your last point - I think I could fiddle forever and not be satisfied.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I got inspired to try my hand at crafts. I made a yarn wreath and yarn trees...then did a Guest Post at Moonbeamwishes about it.

Everything sparks inspiration for me. Music and art mainly. Recently I've been lacking because my job is crushing my spirit. :( I'll get there again. :)

I love those tidbits of inspiration! I've been working on a young adult historical fantasy. I'm loving every moment of it! My inspiration has been an Irish singer that I just discovered Mairead. She's amazing!

Music inspires me a lot. It really helps set the tone, too.

Happy Thanksgiving, Jen!

I try to tell the truth as often as possible . . . and I don't like lying at all! :P But I can see the connection between lying and fiction . . . LOL.

Have a great Thanksgiving!

Still editing. But my WIP is in the final edits from my editor. Sorry, it is taking time and I don't have enough to pass around to visit everyone.
