Summer Fun

I'm still doing the usual Tuesday Twist but today I've decided to embrace the Fun in the Sun vibe and enjoy some fun summer reads!

First Sentences
1. I was squeaky clean and my hair conditioned for at least two of the suggested three minutes when the water went cold.
2. I say, "I can't believe you're really here."
3. Charlotte had already picked the lettuces and set them, along with bunches of asparagus tied with twine and the mason jars of fresh-faced pansies, out on the table in a shaded spot at the end of the drive.

Secret Titles
1. Title Revealed
2. Title Revealed
3. Title Revealed

So what would you read? My favorite of the day was #3!

Sorry, none of them grab me today.

I like the sound of #3, it's got a nice summery feel to it, evoking farmstands on a warm day.

I think number three sounds the most interesting... very summer inspired :)

Have a great day Jen!!!

I'm with Alex that none of them are huge grabbers, but #1 is my preference.

Not sure why other than I can relate, but the first one got me enough to say, "Hey, what's this?"

I chose #2. Though I would think line #1 would fit with the title of #2.

Thanks for the summer read links, Jen!

None of them really hooked me, but if I were going to pick among the three I'd pick #2.

I'd go with #1 because I have long hair and I could totally see this happening to me.

I'm loving number three! It reminds me of a farmer's market, and ours is just starting to be open here :)

Number 3 definitely sounds interesting!

Based on just one sentence, I'm not really into any of these.

Out of the three, number 1 was the only one that kind of grabbed me.

I think #2 was the only one that I would really keep reading for. I know, I'm a tough customer today. It's too hot here in chicago and it's bumming me out!

I'm not in love with any of them but if I had to pick, #1.

I adore #3. What is it so I can read the rest?

Ha, I followed the link and found the book. I can tell you that the cover would keep me from picking it up. But I did love that first line so maybe I will read it anyway!

I'd pick Life's a Beach, which surprised the heck out of me. :-)

I picked #3 based on the first line but I do want to read #2 as well. Glad that summer is here. Hope you get lots of reading done.
