Tuesday Twist

Everyone seems to be enjoying these fun little posts so I think I should continue!!

How does it work? (for those of you who are new)

Three sentences.
Three attempts to capture your attention.
Three novels at your fingertips.

This week I'd like to thank Blue Willow for turning my attention to several new books coming out next year, in which I will be sharing about today! So get ready for those TBR piles to climb!

1. I the beginning, there's a boy standing in the trees.
2. Three things I know this second: I have morning breath, I'm naked, and I'm waking up next to a boy I don't know.
3. Nothin "Monday morning story worthy" ever happens to me.

1. Secret Revealed
2. Secret Revealed
3. Secret Revealed

Any sound interesting? (again a big thanks to Blue Willow Bookshop for always sharing some of the best reads around!)

Well assuming number one is supposed begin "In the beginning" ... that one sounds the most interesting to me.

Sheesh! Is it Tuesday already? Man, I lose track of days since working from home. The whole week rolls into one long day ... Ugh. Anyway, sentence one - how cool! The other two seem really, um, unoriginal, God I hope they're not books written by blogger buddies, (if they are I'M SOOOOO SORRY!!!!!)

Based on the sentence alone I rank them 2, 1, 3

Based on the cover alone I rank them 1, 2, 3

LOVE #1 cover!

I think that one from The Mockingbirds is one of the most clever sentences!

Susan Fields said...

I'm just dying to read The Mockingbirds, now more than ever.

I'd rate them 2,1,3 (but 1 and 3 are very close).

I love your Tuesday Twist feature!

Hehe, no 2 is a great way to start a novel. I bet you I will keep on reading and If I am really in a hurry, then you got my $17 bucks just with that sentence.

Thanks so much for stopping by Jen, I really appreciate it.
