So jealous, nothing ever happens down in Australia... I wish I could just up and leave at some random time just to attend a US conference.
I so would love to be there. How are you, sweetie? Hugs and kisses
I'm so jealous. Why don't these cool things come to Chicago??
Neat!~ Wish I could be there! Actually Lisa and Laura Roecker are making an appearance at my local library sometime this month. I missed their book signing so I'm gonna have to check them out there!
You always seem to have the best things going. But sorry, Houston is too far away for me. I can't even get my butt down to San Antonio! (Not a city girl.)
Wah! Wish I lived closer!
Oh, man, why is Houston so far away?
Hah...not much. I've missed blogging with you. Trying to catch up with all the A-Z blitz is exhausting...in a good way, though.
this is when living in the middle of no where sucks still the peace and quite is always great for my writing lol
Sorry, nowhere near Houston!
Sounds fab :)
If I lived in Houston, I'd definitely go. Sounds like a good time!
*Sniff* I wish I could be there.
Nothing like that ever happens in my neck of the woods. :( I'm too close to NYC for any event to consider coming to Buffalo, but I'm too far away from NYC to justify the expense of flying or driving there. :( :( :(
Cool things really never come to New Zealand, either. Looks like fun.
Sounds like fun. Would love to go but I don't think my car would make it across the ocean.

I would love to go to one of these- but sadly we don't have stuff like that in my parts very often! Thanks for posting!
NO fair! No fair! No fair!
This sounds great; I would love to go...
That sounds like so much fun. Alas, Texas is a bit too far. :)
Think I'm gonna plan my vacation around the Blue Willow Bookshop. And I've been trying to apparate but I keep leaving my eyebrows behind. When I get it perfected, I'll be there!
My Blog
Too far for me to travel... DARN!
Those are some amazing big name authors you just listed. Now I wish I lived in Texas.
Houston...we have lift off!
Damn, I'm just a little too far away - but I hope everyone that gets there has an awesome experience!
Thanks for putting it out there and sharing - that's what it's all about.
Cheers, Jenny
Oh, how I would love to apparate! :) We have a great little book shop in Salt Lake that holds a lot of author events (that I really need to attend more..). I'll have to see what they've got coming up. Thanks for the reminder!
pretty much nothing happens where i live but to be able to apparate would be AWESOME!
Hi Jen - WOW-womenonwriting has a contest - deadline 5/31 but will shut it off after 300 entries. It's short short fiction - max 750 words. Cash prizes.
http://muffin.wow-womenonwriting.com/. $10 entry fee pays the prizes.

I wish I could Apparate to Houston!
I'll try this: ACCIO BLUE WILLOW BOOKSHOP!
It may take a few minutes for it to get here... ;)
Hi! You posted on my blog recently (thanks!). I love yours. I wish I had gotten in on the A-Z blog challenge when April started; I think it's too late now. Fun to read yours!
As a side note, I saw on your WIP page your story about the Travelers which has some similar elements to what I'm writing. Specifically use of a place called the In Between (weird!) But thankfully, our projects sound different enough that I'm sure they can both exist, as we become world famous bazillionaires. Or at the very least, host a speaking engagement at a local library. We can dream!
Thanks for sharing yaar!!!
with warm regards

Wow, lots of fun stuff going on! I'd love to escape to Houston for the weekend, but it probably won't happen. Still, it's tempting... : )
*sigh* I wish I lived in an area with great conferences and book expos! :-)
Freaking awesome indeed!
Thank, Jen. This event sounds fun. FYI-Your "About Me" blurb is really cute.
Your blog overall is fun. Kudos!
***I just shed a tear*** I, unlike many commenters, live in Houston. Unfortunately its my anniversary and the hubby and I planned to leave on Friday. Actually, we're not going that far - I wonder if he'd notice me gone for a few hours. LOL
I live in Arizona. :-(
I'm sick with wanting to go. Just sick. Maybe I can make it to Houston.
Glad to follow you!
Stop it! Just finding your blog has made me ten times more homesick. WAHHH!!!
I would LOVE to be able to apparate! .... but alas, I can't. I live out in CA. Have fun at the event :)

I wish that I lived close by. My daughter would love to go!

Hey Jen!
I'm officially on the hunt for a conference in NC. I need one in my life! :)
Ooh, I wish I lived close to there! How fun! :)
Well, lookie here! This is where the "next blog" button dropped me off. I'm so grateful! You have a great blog and your voice comes through clearly in your posts. It's very refreshing!
Unfortunately, I'm nowhere near Houston either! :(
Enjoy the rest of the A-Z challenge!

I'd love to snarf down some gumbo in NO and hit I-10!
Very cool! Wish I was closer :)
fantastic..
enjoy.
I wish I could apparate to Houston! I'll be at a Destination Imagination in Joplin, Missouri with my daughter this weekend, so I guess I'll have to miss it.
I didn't realize you're from Houston. One of my daughters and her husband live in Houston. She's a professor in the communications department at the University of Houston and he is in the PR department of the Blaffer Art Gallery and also teaches some university classes. How cool!
I'll be going to visit them in May.
