Y is for Yelling feels good

WOOHOOO!!! HOORAY!!! SUCK IT!!!

Oops, got a little carried away.

Bad days blow. Good day’s rock.

All days allow for yelling.

Find your inner yell and belt it – just not in public where they’ll institutionalize you. That would not be helpful to anyone.

What do you want to yell from the rooftops? Belt it in the comments… I wanna know!

Shhhh. we're trying to get the daughterling to STOP yelling. Everything she says in the house is at top volume. I think she must hold it in all day and just explodes when she walks through the door

Ooh, yelling is so fun. It's not good to hold all that emotion, good or bad, in.

Yelling does feel good. I am known to do that every now and the. Ask my neighbors. They'll tell you.

As for what I'd yell, it would probably (today) just be:

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Happy Friday.

And appropriately, it's a "Y" word. :)

For sure I'm a yeller! Often far too loud and obnoxious to be out in public during a sports event. And believe me it feels great.

I gotta tell ya. When I was an actress (briefly) at Old Tucson Studios and I did several shows a day where I danced, shot a gun, and SCREAMED, the screaming was the best part. It was so cathartic. And when I couldn't scream my loudest several times a day anymore? It was a little weird. Things got pent up again. Luckily I can now release them on the page...

I can't ell what I want to yell. There would be too many expletives.

Sarah said...

Hahaha! This is funny. It reminds me of the whole primal scream thing. Depending on the emotion, release can certainly feel good! I'm terrifically pleased the weekend is starting. Is it ok if I just cheer in my own head rather than yelling it?

Oh jeez this made me laugh. I love it. In college, we had this thing called "primal scream" where you just all went outside of your dorms and screamed whatever you wanted for the hell of it. That was a blast. I do it sometimes here - it doesn't go over so well in CHicago LOL.

Bish Denham said...

My mother used to call me one of God's screachers I could yell and scream so loud.
