When holiday's throw up in my house...

Happy Thursday my gems! Even with the new change of blogging pace I can’t give up my honesty days! It just doesn’t work. You guys listen to me oh so well. I can’t give it up. Not to mention I think you love venting days!

1. Pier 1 Imports and Kirklands love my business. If I had it my way I’d be broke all thanks to them. From cherry blossom trees to wonderful Halloween figurines my heart loves it all. Last weekend I picked up three sparkly pumpkins complete with three awesome Halloween teddy bear figurines. I could have picked more, after all when the holidays roll in it looks like they threw up.

2. For every book I’ve written I own a pair of shoes that was designed just for it. I can’t help it, it’s an addiction. They’re so awesome I want to share them to the world. And when I do, everyone loves them. I think it might be my thing.

3. I’m addicted to Big Brother… I’ve watched it from the first season and can’t help myself. Each year is more exciting than the last. I still tell myself I’d be really good at the game; however I’m now to chicken to sign up. Yup, never gonna happen – even though I know you’d all watch!

4. I’m a creature of habit (aren’t we all)… however from time to time I change up my driving routine. With all the criminal investigative shows I have learned that being a creature of habit is a very bad thing, they watch you, then attack you when you follow your usual routine. Yes, that’s exactly why I switch it up.

5. At work I’m known as the iPhone guru. It’s sad, I don’t know crap about a phone – Google does. I use their guidance to show me the path to completion. However the ladies in my office only need things like finding their misplaced App Store button or how to get rid of voicemails. I welcome their sweetness, after all, they make me feel important an awesome.

What are your truths?

Heh. I do the routine thing too! It's always on my mind. And sometimes when people talk to me about running, I say that I run so I can really run if I ever need to (in a chase!)

Dude, I love the holiday stuff too, but Hobby Lobby is my weakness. I seem to have a hidden talent for making floral arrangements and wreaths and stuff, and that place is my crack.

I love your truth posts. Here's mine: I'm early to everything. I can't help it. If I think I'll be on time or late, I get anxious.

I wish England made more of Halloween. Now the girls are too old for tick-or-treating, there's nothing left :-(

Shoes!!!! Why haven't I seen a picture?

No, you mustn't go on Big Brother. If it's anything like it is England, the media would be really mean to you, and then I'd have to boycott all the news and then I'd know even less than I do now :-(

I love routine too but I'm always on the lookout for people who follow me. They'd probably get bored at block one.

I just love your shoe addiction. For me, it's notebooks.

I edit in the early morning, do school work in late morning, skate in the afternoon, do more editing in the evening, read at night, and blog at times where I should be asleep! That's pretty much all you need to know about me :) Great post today!

I love that you have a pair of shoes for each book you've written! And I wish I decorated for holidays more - I'm just too lazy!

I'm definitely a creature of habit. I don't even like to move furniture in my house. It disrupts the flow.

I love shoes too. After a recent conversation about shoes with a friend she said "Only women could talk about shoes for 6 blocks."
I'm a creature of habit but I never thought about changing up my driving route.

I don't get into holidays that much. I mean I try, for my kids sake, but I'd rather go out of town and visit family.

Really? A pair of shoes you designed? That's awesome!!

I'm so a creature of habit. I try not to be, but those habits just creep through!

Shoes designed for each book? I'd love to see them. Share...please?

My day sucks until I have a cup of coffee--it doesn't even have to be good coffee, and decaf will do fine.

I'm totally obsessed with book reviews and blogging! TOTALLY!

Those are all fantastic (especially the habit one). I have about seven journals, and only one of them is filled. The rest are halfway filled if I really like them, but usually much less. With how much I write it really is surprising how little I write in my journal lol

Hey, at least when you have your launch party for each book, you'll know the exact shoes to wear. That's something, right? Right.

LOL- its amazing what people think you know and come to you for help with when they could simply do it themselves.

Truth: I'm addicted to Scribophile which is an online writers group I have recently found very valuable, but man I get so much fun out of participating in the forums I lose track of time.

Truth: I secretly despise pencils and yet make my children use them :)
Have a great day Jen!

Shoes. I hate to be a stereotype but I love them. I think it's great you have a pair for each book. Fab idea!

The only thing I can think of for a truth is the mischievous voices in my head reinterpret what I hear. I blogged about it today.

Truth? My hair frizzes in humidity. I get these little wingy things on the side. Not pretty. ;)

And I like to change it up every now and then, too (for the same reason!). :)

Never thought of changing my routine but that is a very good idea. I will definitely be doing that from now on. I should know better, I'm considered the neighbor that watches everything but my neighbors love it that I am. So it would seem I would know this. Thanks for sharing this nugget of info.

New follower by the way. :-)

#4: I switch up my routine, too, although I don't think of it as a safety issue (but I agree, it is!). I just get bored if I take the same route all the time!

Thank you for visiting my blog!

Holidays and me don't get along.

But I am a creature of habit at restruants; I order the same meal every time cuz I don't want to pay that much money for something I didn't like.

I hate routine.

I'm on a holiday now, and loving it. It is a different matter altogether that I'm still blogging and blogfesting!

On that note, would like to invite you to The Rule of Three Blogfest ---a month-long shared-world fiction extravaganza in October with some great prizes (including Talli Roland's new book..woot!), and of course, a lot of fun with other writers, all writing in the same 'world'.

Sign up to add your three people to the town of Renaissance :)

I probably could sucked into Big Brother b/c I'm just like that - that's why I've never watched it! :)
