So now that we've got that covered lets get down to the real gabby business.
I talk to much.
I consider it a strength most of the time but there are times where it's my weakness.
Girls Night Out - Strength
During a Movie - Weakness
Home Alone - Strength
While husbands doing homework - Weakness
See what I mean? I'm Gabby... Chatty Cathy... Suzie Talks A Lot.
So today I'm not going to talk that much. I'm going to leave it up to you.
Who are you? Talkative, silent, mysterious. Fun.
The sky's the limit! TELL ME WHO YOU ARE!
How would you describe me? Do I seem chatty to you?

Good luck with your novel, Jennifer Hillier.
Your gabby post made me laugh.
I'm not too gabby. When I teach, I can be pretty gabby. I have to remember to ask the students questions and give them a chance to share their opinions!
Happy weekend, Jen.
Ok soon off to spread some love but first...There is nothing wrong with being chatty, actually it is a trait that I admire. You might think that I am as well, but here is a secret for you (and whoever reads this post)I am a recluse...yep in hibernation by choice. I just need some space so I tend to listen and be as invisible as I can. The only place you actually can hear me is in this little blog world, where I like to come out and play.
I'm more of an observer than a talker. Also my brain doesn't work all that fast and I can stumble bumble my way around words or there will be long pauses as I struggle to think of the word I want to say. Which is one reason why I like to write. It's a slower process, I have time to think.
Off to spread the love!
I'm a bit of a talker when I'm nervous, but I admit all other times I prefer to observe and take every little detail in.
I have a tendency to gab during television shows - not my hubby's favorite feature of me LOL!
I'm more quiet than gabby, I guess. Hmm, maybe those in my inner-most circles wouldn't agree...LOL
Totally depends on my mood. I can be really gabby, other times not. I'm fun. I'm one who loves chocolate chip cookies warm from the oven.
Talkative and Fun!
I can be gabby with my husband, family and close friends. With others I tend to be more on the listener side, letting them do most of the talking.
I can see that about you. I have my moments. I prefer a back and forth conversation but if I have something to say, I'll say it. I don't talk much in big groups but smaller ones I'm good.
I talk way too much for my own good. Always have. The weird thing though is that I'm not good at parties or really big social events. I'll be the one sitting in the corner.
Loved this post, Jen!

I talk faster than my brain functions. Which might account for some of the stupid and embarrasing things I say when in the presence of new people. And it might be why I still can't manage the feminine or masculine in french- my mouth doesn't have time to figure out which it is.
It depends on my mood. There are times I just want it completely silent...wait that's when I talk to myself and to my characters. Okay, I talk a lot.
Congrats to Jen. I will check out her blog.
Well, I actually am Gabi. Need I say more?
I'm following Jennifer but I missed the announcement about the giveway. Thanks for sharing, Jen.
You chatty? Never. :D
You're a woman - I'm be stunned if you weren't chatty.
Hi, jen,
Yes, I would consider you chatty, but in the best sort of way. You have great enthusiasm about EVERYTHING! And that is a wonderful thing in an adult. Most of us loose that quality. I'm glad you didn't. It's infectious.
Me. I have several moods. I certainly can get caught up in the moment and chat up a storm, but then their are times I sit back and listen to the chatter about me, enjoying the scene... that's the writer in me.
I laughed when I saw your title. Does that answer your question? Yes, I see you as gabby and I like it!
I can small-talk with the best of them, but I prefer intimate one-on-one conversations if given the choice.
My Blog
I love your gabby nature! I tend to be more of a listener EXCEPT at bedtime - then I want to talk (just ask my man)
I'm a gabby one, though I'm less likely to strike up convos with perfect strangers than I used to be. I guess the East Coast is pounding the Midwesterner out of me.
I'm an extroverted introvert ;-)
(And wooohooo to Jennifer! She's my agency-sis :D)
I ramble like a crazy person to the people who know me. (And, er, often people who don't.) I also talk really fast, but I usually don't hear myself talking really fast unless I'm listening to a recording of my voice. Most of my friends and family are used to it, but when I'm talking to my co-author on the phone and I'm super hyper and excited about something, every once in a great while she has to ask me to slow down because she can't understand a word I'm saying.
Oddly enough, though, I'm an introvert.
How cool. She just found me today and I so would love to win a copy but I doubt she is shipping this far. You don't seem like a chatty kathy to me. Online I talk a LOT. Offline I very rarely if ever talk at all. Anonymity seems to bring the chatty kathy in me out.

I'm not very chatty unless--and this is very strange--I'm eating. You'd think the food would shut me up, but it makes me blabber on and on. I'm also pretty chatty with friends or family when nothing else is going on.
The time I talk the least: on the phone. I really hate talking on the phone.
I tend to be shy and quiet until I get to know you. Then I won't shut up, lol
Totally depends on my mood and audience... people I know well and am comfortable with often can't shut me up. People I don't know well/am unsure about? crickets :)
I love words too much not to use them. I am most certainly a wordy person :)
You seem totally chatty to me, but I love it!! I'm the same way most of the time. :-)
My mother wouldn't let me kiss the Blarney Stone...she couldn't cope with any more gab than I already had. Age has tempered me though.
Love your gabbiness though!
I can't shut up. And I talk too fast.
I'm stopping now.
:) You seem chatty in a very comfortable, fun way. :) As for me, I'm kind of.... well, I can be very chatty when I'm around friends, but around strangers I tend to want to clam up.
I don't talk much. I prefer listening and thinking. But when I write? I go overboard. I'm definitely too long winded when I write. Probably because I never talk.
I meant to post here a little while ago, but became mesmeried by Jennifer Hillier's website LOL!
I am definitely a talker - there's no stopping me!
I am chatty, but only with certain people. I cannot chat it up with just anyone.
Oh man. We are polar opposites. The hubs is the chatty one in this relationship. I tend to sit, quietly unless I have something important to say.
For me, it really depends. Sometimes I am super talkative...to the point where I start to feel bad...like I am monopolizing the conversation too much. Other times, I sit mute...having nothing to add to the conversation at all. I find myself in situations where I don't think anyone would care what I had to say about anything.
ooo, I chat chat chat. You know this b/c we texted texted texted when I was alone in SF! :D LOL!!!
and yes, I can totally see that about you. omg, I have news. And hooray for Jennifer~ <3
I talk waaaay too much. I love words and am never at a loss for them, which sometimes gets me in trouble. I also have AADD, so I go off on tangents. There is no such thing as a "quick conversation" with me. :\ :)
i talk a ton, but not at school. it's weird. i have almost NO friends from my classes because they're all so big and no one talks to me either. lame.
I am totally a Chatty Cathy! It's impossible for me to have a conversation with a friend that's less than an hour long. But overall, I think it's a strength, because people are so interesting!
Thanks for the shout out Jen! You're awesome!
CREEP sounds fantastic!
I like that you're gabby, because I'm not. You have a cool, fun personality.
CREEP sounds wonderful, thanks for the info. I love discovering a new author and can't wait to read the book!
I laughed at your gabby post. I'm definitely a quiet one so I need chatty cathy's around me. :)
LOVE Jennifer Hillier! I cannot wait until her book comes out and at this point I'd be willing to mug someone for an arc.lol
I can be really talkative but only after 10AM and like an entire pot of coffee.
oooh! I think all writers tend to be gabby. well, most women writers, or is it most bloggers? now im confused. I know i can be pretty gabby especially when im blogging.:P

I'm a listener.
I'm chatty around my friends, but in general not chatty around acquaintances. My husband works late and sometimes he comes home in time to go to bed, but I've been home alone storing up all that chatty news. Much to his sleepy dismay, I virtually explode with news the minute he walks in the door.
I'm chatty on paper (or on computer) but not in person. I have the chattiest grandson (now 5) who always has to put in his 2 cents worth even when he doesn't know what the rest of us are talking about. He just makes something up just so he can talk. It's hilarious! I enjoy being around chatty people because that means I don't have to worry about what to say. I just listen and they think it's wonderful.

thanks so much for your visit the other day, gabby that you may be...sometimes
speaking of the 15th that's when my party is!
I'm a mixture of both, depends on my mood, the situation, and other stuff.
I'm going right now to check out Jennifer's blog. :)
I'm the opposite -- painfully shy in person. Which is why the Internet's such a great place for me to open up. :)
I was a listener from a very early age, observing, watching. If I'm with people I know, I can be gabby, but if I'm in an unfamiliar situation I'm quiet.
Ah...the tell all!
Well, I said just enough on Jennifer's site to reveal that my dark side may be what wins me a copy of her book!
Here's hoping!
As to how I see you...engaging, entertaining, enlightening, educating, and energetic - I'm in an "e" mood tonight - beats some of the "d" words too!
Okay, there you have it, my nickels worth (you know inflation and all, two pennies don't go very far)
Jenny
