Author Note: I am at Query Tracker today for the first time! I'm so excited to be a guest blogger for right now and would LOVE if you stopped by to say hello! It's a great post!
I have a VERY special guest today. Beth Harbison, author of Shoe Addicts Anonymous, Hope in a Jar, and many others has stopped in to answer some fun and wacky questions. You all know by now I ask the quirky questions… today is no exception.
Several questions I asked came from Beth’s book titles and descriptions! There are also just a few quirky fun ones. Getting to know the author has never been more fun! Beth fits in perfectly with her answers!!!
ENJOY!
1. How many styles of shoes did you wear while writing Shoe Addict Anonymous? None. I write barefoot. I rarely have to put on Lady Clothes.
2. Besides putting Hope in a Jar if given a mason jar what would you fill it with? Xanax and champagne. Then I'd shake it up, watch the Mentos commercial-like reaction, then drink what was left.
3. What was your biggest childhood insecurity? Feeling too tall
4. How do you tackle stressful days? #2
5. If I were to peek into your refrigerator what would I find? Milk from the local dairy, cheese, eggs, veggies and fifty million condiments and sauces.
Fun & Random questions
1. Favorite pair of shoes - any Sanuks
2. Daiquiri or Martini -martini
3. Night out or Night in - In
4. Fireflies or Dragonflies - Fireflies5. Cowboy boots or Rain boots – rain boots....but, please, no rain!
Are you a shoe addict? What's your favorite pair? Isn't Beth fabulous!!

Yes I am. Black peep toe heels with white polka dots and black bow. Yes she is :)
I wish I could be a shoe addict. I have big clown feet so that's hard for me to do. It's usually "take what you can fit into" for me when it comes to shoes...
Great interview! So funny. I love me some sneakers.
What a fun interview. And yes, I definitely qualify as a shoe addict. It's my weakness.
I also write barefoot as the baby yanks them off my feet while playing under the desk. I love shoes, but with a clinging toddler I go for flats or flip flops so we both survive. When I admitted to Hubby that one day - I could see myself paying $1200 for a pair of shoes He said: Well you better get that book published. One day.
Great interview. Was fun reading the questions/answers. I'm definitely not a shoe addict. Prefer to be barefoot. Currently only have one pair of shoes. Will soon be buying a new pair, so I'll then have two. Wow, talk about living on the edge! LOL.
Fun, fun, fun interview
haha! that was filled with awesome!
Hi, I invite you to my blog. I'm new blogger and I hope you like my blog.
To follow me know, ok.
Take care.
Shoes are my bank account's downfall. I can't say no to 'em. Great interview! I'll check you out at Query Tracker.
No, I'm not a shoe addict but I could be! When I pass shoes in a department store, I adore them. But I'm a barefoot girl, through and through. When shoes are necessary, flip flops are my friends.
What a fun interview!
I think I own a whole three pairs of shoes...
Just wanted to say your post "Is giving up even an option" helped me immensely today. I was toying with the idea actually. Thanks for the wise words, Roland
bahahahahahah xanax and champagne... A girl after my own heart :)
Oh and I forgot to answer! I am totally a shoe addict. My favorite pair is my one and only pair of jimmy choos :)
This is awesome. I am severely lacking in shoes and plan to do some shopping for them soon. Rather be bare foot, I guess! I am digging the Xanax in a mason jar with champagne. Just might make my day right now!
What fun questions Jen and the answers are great! I am a shoe addict kind of. I have about 15 pairs of shoes and I love my stilettos.
I love shoes. Thankfully, my daughter and I wear the same size--so we have twice as many shoes. Bliss.
Love your bite sized interviews. "Lady clothes" hehe.
Shoes do nothing for me. Give me a pair of runners or hot (sexy hot) winter boots and I'm happy. :D
Fun QnA. I enjoyed reading it.
Comfort is my main goal, so my favorite shoes are sneakers.
I have a lot of condiments in my fridge, too! More condiments than food, actually. What does that say about me?
Thank you for stopping by my blog! That meant a lot to me. :)
Thanks for the guest post - I will have to check out the shoe addict book, it sounds fun. I'm not that into having a lot of shoes, I wear the same few pairs over and over. But, they are mostly heels since I gave up loafers or any kind of sensible "comfortable" shoe. I buy cute shoes that fit well and realized they are just as comfortable when you get used to them.
