What people read...

People write them. People read them. And people question them.

How to be a reasonably Thing Teenage Girl (yeah, that's exacty what teen girls should be thinking about).

Strange Nervous Laughter (with a side of eggs).

What's your poo telling you? (Something all of us should be researching, I hate it's taken me this long).

Knitting with Dog Hair (seriously, I'm grossed out).

Cyber Sex for Dummies (glad that's cleared up, now I know they aren't one in the same).

I love that the POO book is fashionably brown. But doubleyikes on all of them.

That last one stumped me. WTH??? Um, the first one - I wonder what the story is about. Hopefully, it's about developing a good self image.

Ookay, some interesting stuff here. I don't even know what to say about a how-to guide for cyber sex!

However, "Strange Nervous Laughter" looks like something I want to read. Might have to add that one to the TBR pile!

Well, to be honest, I don't know how to communicate with my poo, I have no idea how to knit with dog hair or have cyber sex, so I guess I'll head over to Amazon right away.

LOL. The LSO would love that poo book! Okay. This is disgusting but funny. He called me to the bathroom one day and asked me to look at his poo. Well, I wasn't too keen but he insisted. It was so funny because his poo was exactly the shape of a question mark. A true story!

RaShelle said...

What's so sad is that these were actually published. LOL I'm sure they were written very well.

Thanks for the laugh. =D

Knitting with Dog Hair made me gag a little. I remember a Project Runway finale where the designer used human hair. That grossed me out too. I don't know why that's grosser than wool or leather, but it is.

Madeleine said...

Yes I've heard of the dog hair knitting book, but the others are a real revelation. Thanks for the laugh. Excellent!
I wonder if the Bodlian has copies of all these? :O)

Julie Hedlund said...

OK, that Cyber-Sex one can't be real. For one thing, isn't "Cyber" really a turn of the century word? I think that went the way of "information super-highway."
