At a loss for words

We're at Friday. I'm supposed to say something witty, intelligent, snarky. Yet I have nothing. No words. I've sat at the computer for several minutes, and before that I had thought for several hours but still have nothing.

So for this Friday, forgive me.

Instead I want to ask what you're post was about. What are your plans for the weekend? Share your thoughts, frustrations, and triumphs below.

Again, sorry for the lack of post.

Thank god for Fridays...especially in weeks like these where time off is in order.

Oh wait, I just got back from vacation...

well, everyone's entitled to a loss of words now and then ;-) Have a great weekend!

Don't worry about it, it's Friday. It's okay to be at a loss for words.

This weekend I plan on finishing my second draft. That is the plan anyway!

Hope you have a great weekend!

I had no thoughts of my own, so I posted about Agents' thoughts. I'm a dirty cheater :)

Blogging isn't easy and I sometimes experience this too. However, the fact that you care to blog everyday speaks wonders of your diligence and love for your readers.

Thank you.

I was trying to write a post for next week and my head came up blank. But you managed to do a much better job turning around to your advantage. I'm probably going to have to scrap my post. :P

It's okay to be at a loss, once in a while. Maybe that's a silent plea for a break. I know I've been taking one for a few months. LOL

Take a breather and return fresh on Monday. Here if you need to vent. You're a champ.

OH sweetie, you have NO idea how often this happens to me. I'm totally running out of topics. I'm not writing anything at the moment (kind of in a funk where that's concerned) and today's 'living in france' post was pulled out my arse and ended up divulging the wonders of French Game shows vs. American game shows.

You're forgiven! My post today is about the people who've helped me on my journey. And tonight, we're seeing Rango!

I love how honest you are, Jen.
No specific plans for the weekend. I hate planning. I'm hoping to be surprised.

Happy Friday. My post was about my journey as a writer and who I've met along the way. Weekend plans are WORK...but I work in a bookstore, so, it doesn't really even feel like work!!

Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

I think it's ok not to have anything to say once in a while. Just sayin' :)

Aww...we still love you. :)

My post was about how silly I've been with a box of Gleem toothpaste. See? Don't you feel better? You could have posted something dumb like that. LOL

We all have those days sometimes. :) Can't wait for the dinner and signing tonight! I want to be reading Demonglass like, right now. Then I'm headed to Austin for the weekend, doing some small town research on the way--so excited!

I need to work. I got a new job as an editor! :)

No worries. We love you with or without a post. My post for today is for Dr. Seuss, and as for this weekend, I have lots of housework and time with my kids lined up. :-)

Work has been killing me and I'm finding myself in your boat, too. After number crunching all day, my brain can't focus on actual words.

My post today is a review of Losing Faith by Denise Jaden. If you haven't read it yet, it's a great read!

Tonight is my SIL's birthday, so we're off to a local brewpub to celebrate!

The gymnastics American Cup is on tomorrow and I'm soooo excited!!! There hasn't been a broadcasted gymnastics competition in the U.S. since the World Championships in October. I can't wait! It's going to be an excellent competition.

So yea, that's what I'll be doing tomorrow! As for the rest of the weekend, who knows?

Hope your weekend is fun and fabulous, Jen!

My post is Do we really live, like we think we're going to die? Not my usual light and fun one, but a good reminder. :O)

I love how your honest enough to simply state it. :D

My post is a new painting (for Illustration Friday). I'm learning to share my art with the world even when I don't feel ready, or have my "style" down, or think it's good enough. I'm trying to get comfortable with risks.

No post in either of my blogs today. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I'm doing with my Razzy's Corner blog, and my fmaily blog is waiting for a post after the weekend's activities are finished. It's going to be a great weekend!!!

Today, my post is about how I terrified myself last night because I was home alone and my imagination got away from me.

No worries about the lack of posts hunny. I know my little ray of sunshine is going to be BLINDING after your weekend of polishing and fun!

I am no stranger to this. We all need a break from words now and again. It was SOOO nice chatting with you for a little while and catching up some. MUST do more in the near future. As for this weekend, eh, polishing up some chapters...maybe. OR redecorating the living room which sounds like more fun :) Have a great one m'dear. Tons of (((hugs)))

Hi, Jen! That's okay, we all have blog days like that. I just went on a blog break for over a month because I was in overload. It happens with topic ideas too. :o)

Have a great weekend!

I only do a post per week, but mine is a humorous account of the decision to buy a guinea pig for the kiddos. This weekend I am completely remodeling my blog, Extreme Edition style. Now if I can just get that cute host to stop by and talk about it.

Sonme days I wish I could be at a loss of words. Stopping by from the A-Z challenge. Love your blog. Following.

This post explains most of my blogging days. After all the other thinking I do in my life, my blog gets whatever I have left. And sometimes that isn't much!

I did my usual Friday interview! Come by and see :)

My current frustration. It's kind of a secret so I don't know why I'm announcing it for all to see...probably because there are probably many in the same boat.

How do I fit it all in? Sometimes I wonder if I need to take a step back and hold the blog for a while. I get so sidetracked by it that I push away other really important things. For example, my kids. And then writing...and that's why I have a blog anyway right? Because I'm a writer? I just get frustrated that I don't always get to write.

Anyway, sorry that was a long vent. You asked for it though ;)

Just read Michelle's comment above mine, and I think sometimes that blogging has peaked. I wrote a post today about maybe blogs will become the dinosaur of social media and if so it will be because of word verif,,grrr I hate that, hehe even tho you have it, no offense.

I'm glad it's not just me. I've been telling myself that I haven't been coming up with many ideas because it's been hard for me to get my momentum back after the new year. But it's March now, so I am going to have to think of a new excuse.

I know that feeling. Hope you find your muse again soon. I keep feeling completely washed out and then get back a bit of energy only to feel washed out again. Have a great weekend. :O)

Aw, no words from Jen. Well, I s'pose you deserve a break after all of your dedicated blogging. All I got up was a post w/ some links to save the show "Chuck." Hope you're weekend's been pleasant.

Hi, Jen, thanks for stopping by my blog. I can totally understand you having no words when you post so frequently. Heck, I'm lucky if I can find something to say once a week. :)

The fact you posted without really having anything to say speaks volumes. :) It happens to all of us, some more than others. *Whistles nonchalantly* You'll be back on form in no time.
