Happy Friday!!!
Today I'm keeping it simple... a few quotes...
1. Your favorite piece of writing will always be your next one.
2. Stand in the rain with your face turned upward every chance you get.
3. Every writer spends a lifetime as a writer-in-training.
4. Every good writer is a sponge: soak it up, wring it out.
5. A fair number of fiction writers have been avid liars since childhood.
So if the snow is falling or the rain is coming stand in the middle of it all and enjoy the moment. If the sun is shinning spend a day outside to soak it up.
Write a little, read a little, love a lot.
Have a fab weekend!

Great quotes and have a fantastic weekend! The only time I would suggest not standing in the rain is during hurricane season...the debris really dampens the free spirit of it all ;)
Ha ha! Avid liars - all of us!
Love these. Avid liars *snicker*.
I prefer to think of it as "telling other peoples' truths". Which makes me...a tattle tale and a liar, I suppose :))
Great thoughts to inspire on this rainy day. It is raining here, but I'm still in my pajamas, so maybe later I will go out and let it hit me. :O)
Love #2. I'm a rain fanatic. Warm summer droplets beading on my face, while the giggles of children splash in forming puddles. Those are some of my favorites.
This is great. Avid Liars? Nice.
Have a great weekend!
Great quotes! Who said/wrote them? Curious George would like to know :)
Great advice! Have a great weekend!
Love those, especially the first one! Have a great weekend, Jen. :-)
Lots of inspiring thoughts here today. It's pouring rain here, so I'll think of you when I venture out later on :)
Happy Friday ...
Thanks for the quotes~ number five is hilarious! Have a good weekend :)
Hey Jen!!! Thank you so so so much for your sweet comment yesterday!!!
By the way I am still laughing at number 5
I may be a sponge, but I'm not a liar!
Love the thought of looking up into the rain! Great thoughts about enjoying life in the moment.
Have a great bunch of moments this weekend. :)
Such great quotes!
Love the liar one. SO true!
Have a wonderful weekend, Jen!
Love those quotes! Happy Friday!
Sure, I can go with these.

Tossing It Out
Who lies? *cough cough*
Have a great weekend!
OH YEAH to both #2 and 5!!!!
Can't wait for Saturday!
HAVE AN AWESOME DAY
Love those quotes! Thanks for sharing :)
I love your humorous and honest approach to writing. I think the A to Z Challenge will be quite a lot of fun! I am definitely up for it. I already began my alphabetical list of what to blog about.
Yay for amazing advice! I need to go out and soak up some of this sunshine this afternoon. Thanks, Jen! Have an awesome weekend!
O.K. I like this blog, like the short posts that don't make me feel like I'm going crazy from boredom! Like your pink hair also!
The number #4 quote really resonates: Soak it up, wring it out. Yes, exactly.
Have a great weekend, Jen!
Fantastic quotes!! Have a great weekend!
"A fair number of fiction writers have been avid liars since childhood." Haha! inDEED ;D
So true about number five...my mom would agree haha
I know some people who would disgree with #3. They're complete idiots.
Love #1. So true. :D
Great advice and I prefer story tellers instead of liars.
Love points #3 - so true!
I love playing in the rain and soaking up sun. And rainbows when they happen at the same time!!
Happy weekend!
Have a great weekend!
So true about your favorite piece of writing always being the new project! :)
Beautiful, Jen! Your post could have been a poem....
Hey Jen! I love your quotes, especially #5!
I just read your truths and I love spending time just talking to my husband, too. Funny, one of my dreams is to at least spend a few nights in a castle. They're so.....ancient. Imagine if their walls could talk!
Have a great weekend!
I love being out in the rain as long as its not freezing rain. My wife thinks I'm nuts but if I'm caught during a rains storm without an umbrella I'm actually enjoying it!
another writer?! Im hitting the jackpot today :) your blog is inspiring, I cant wait to discover more of it!!! And you rock that pinnk hair girl!!!
Awesome quotes! Hmm, yes, I have been a little liar from the beginning... have a great weekend.
Hi! Thank you SO much for reading my new blog! And being so nice!! I can't wait to read Demonglass!
I would like to submit that comedic non-fiction writers make for good liars, too. Seriously. The Husband will vouch for the tiny grain of truth in some of my writing. ;)
#2 and #3 are win for me
