Kix, Red, and The Vampire Diaries

Truth Thursday. I worried I'd run empty on truths about myself. My goal is to not bore you, let's hope that I haven't failed.

So, let's begin.

Truths

1. I love Kix. Kid tested. Mother approved. Twenty-four year old iN lOvE. They have a new berry flavor out. I'm afraid to try it.
2. The color red looks amazing with a zebra rug (trust me I know). I was at Ikea and found the perfect chair for my reading room!! It's adorable, and it is like a rocker (ultra-awesome)!
3. I love to re-read and I'm also a re-watcher. I know a lot of people disagree and thing it's wrong to re-read and re-watch things with all the amazing books and movies out there, but I love classics and I just love good books/movies. Nothings going to change that.
4. I just ordered the first season of The Vampire Diaries. I've heard such great things about it that even though I'm behind I figured I'd start at the beginning and catch up.
5. I dislike my mailman. He takes 2 1/2 hours to distribute mail at our apartment complex and it annoys me. He takes breaks midway through! Who does that?! I really wish I could distribute it myself (slow poke).

So what are your truths this week?!

I am a hard-core re-reader LOL! When I was a kid, I probably read my favorite book (Where the Red Fern Grows) at least 30 times. It was just that awesome. Speaking of awesome - I hope you have a great week:)

I'm a re-reader too! SO glad to know I'm not alone in this :-)

I'm a re-reader and re-watcher and re -anythinger, and I will shank whomever tries to tell me to do otherwise.

Rereading is perfectly acceptable. Seriously. Nice blog! Might have to steal this truth thursday idea. =)

I love certain movies and will watch them over and over- others, once is too much!

Hello, my name is Catherine and I'm a re-watcher. A few years back my husband bought me the movie Pride and Prejudice (BBC Version) because I'd rented it so many times from the movie store. Ha!

I think you could report that postman. Or shoot bee-bee's at him to make him hurry.

I left my truths on My Blog

I had cheesecake for breakfast on Monday. A big honking slab of it. And the truth is, if there was more in the fridge right now, right freakin' now, I'd eat some more.

Speaking of Kix, I tried some Reese's peanut butter cereal as a sweet crunchy snack and it was really good! Satisfied my craving for junk with fewer calories, so that was good.

I'm a total rereader and rewatcher! That's why I own way too many DVDs, especially of TV seasons. If I fall in love with a character, I want to relive their story over and over again! And yay for Vampire Diaries!!! Can't wait to hear what you think of it!

My truth is that I wish I could write short, concise posts like this that were still awesome. Like yours!

I'm definitely a re-watcher. I watch VD and love it. I watched the first season while it aired and almost gave up on it in the beginning. But I decided to watch the first entire season and then judge. And I'm so glad I stuck with it. I really enjoyed it and am enjoying the second season now.

I love to re-read and re-watch things too. Sometimes, it's like chocolate or potato chips--one time isn't enough! :-)

I haven't seen(or read) the vampire diaries either, but I so need to.

My mailman rocks! I almost ran him over and he didn't say a thing. He is always smiley and waves to everyone. He totally needs a raise. =)

mmm Kix! I have not had those in forever!! I have been on a lucky charms kick lately haha
I cant get enough!!

The first couple of episodes of TVD are a little slow but then it picks up steam and never stops! I absolutely love the show! Hubby didn't watch it with me, but once the first season became available for purchase, he bought it for me and we watched it together and now he's as hooked as I am! :)

Ooh, I want to see the chair!

I'm not so much of a re-reader as I am a re-watcher. Maybe that's because there are so many more great books out there than movies. I can't take my time to reread, but I love the nostalgia from watching a favorite movie. (It's quicker than reading a book too :))

Jessica Ann Hill said...

I don't re-read very often. Usually only if it's one of my absolute favorites. I do re-watch a lot of TV and movies, though.

I hope you enjoy The Vampire Diaries! I've been watching it from the beginning, and I wasn't too sure about it at first, but it just keeps getting better and better. :)

I have to have my "comfort" movies that I watch over and over. No problem doing that!

And OMG, I love kix. I used to eat them all the time when I was younger.

Aw, sorry about the mailman :( I love ours= we live in an older neighborhood and he walks. He knows our dog and always talks to Little Monster when we're outside.

Yay you're getting caught up on the Vampire Diaries!!!

OMG! They have the best cereal in France. Cereal with, get this, DARK CHOCOLATE! To. DIE. FOR.

I am also a re-reader, re-watcher, re-thinker, re-eater...wait, that one doesn't make sense. I love to reread though.

I loves Vampire Diaries. You will too!

I had a war with my mailman a few years ago. I don't like him.

I'm a huge re-reader!!!! and re-watcher.

You are going to love The Vampire Diaries. It took me to episode 3 or 4 before I was hooked completely though. I think that might have been the one where Damon showed up?lol Hello.

Colene Murphy said...

Hahaha! I can't wait until one Thursday one of your truths will be "I stole my apartment complexes mail from the mailman and handed it out myself in a fraction of the time" Can't. Wait.

My newest show love is Being Human on the Sci-fi channel. Love it!!! :O)

hmmm... I think I've shared most of mine. I did start watching that VD (LOL!) from the beginning, and I think it's gotten better. It was good at first, then it got dumb IMO, now it's coming back around. Or maybe sometimes I'm just feeling a little vamped out~ :D <3

I'm sorry you don't like your mailman. My mailwoman is awesome. She once picked up a package I'd missed and brought it back to my house, even though it was the truck mailman's original package.

The Vampire Diaries books are the best. The original three, that is. Not the weird follow up books.
