Bad Blogger

I've been a bad blogger.

I'm sorry. Life has gotten crazy. I've had to buckle down on my blog schedule. (Check blog schedule to the left...)

Don't worry. I'll make it up to you.

A few things I haven't mentioned but are coming up very soon!

You see my trusty Blue Willow Bookshop badge? Look to the left... it's super cute, I made it myself... if you don't see it yet, I've provided a bigger picture for you to enjoy!

So what is this??? Only the best bookshop in town... if not in the WORLD! I love it, the staff is always sweet and the authors that stop by are just as SWEET! So if you're in Houston or in the surrounding area you should click the badge on my sidebar and check out all the awesome authors coming into town!!

October 4th - 7:00pm - Alexandra Adornetto
She's 18 and already wrote 4 BOOKS! One is a YA titled Halo, and then middle grade novels The Strangest Adventures! You should check them out, they're amazing!

October 19th - 5:00pm - Tony DiTerlizzi
Author and illustrator Tony DiTerlizzi. He will be at Blue Willow to discuss and sign his newest YA novel, The Search for WondLa. For those of you who don't know he co-creator and author of the Spiderwick Chronicles!

I also wanted to let everyone know on top of me joining NaBloWriMo in October I'll be joining NanoWriMo for November, so for all those who are participating let me know and I'll be your writing buddy!!! My username is Jen_Unedited! See you there!

Impressive schedule but I notice the absence of eating and sleeping. LOL
Don't know about NaNoWriMo as I'm having a hard enough time with NaBloWriMo.

Life sounds to be very hectic for you right now. Take care.

All the best, Boonie

I wont be joining NanoWriMo this year just dont feel confident about that much pressure but i do aim to next year.

I will have to visit Blue Willow Bookshop at least once, definitely. *crosses fingers*

Ooh, I'm also doing NaNoWriMo! I will probably start writing before then (because I want to be finished with the rough drafts before the onslaught of finals), but am still aiming for that elusive 50k. :)

Wow - I thought I was busy!

I'm so in for Nano this year - I'm under desviado and would love to be writing buddies! Last year was my first and I didn't finish... shootin' for the golden rings this year!!

Blogger is bad too, and makes it really hard for us all to jump around and visit blogs, comment and do all the rest. It's not just you. I've noticed a lot less activity on blogger lately. So cool you're doing NaNoWriMo!! It's coming up fast *yikes*

Hey Jen - you ARE a busy girl. I'm doing NaNo too. I'm Historian40. I'll go find you.

No worries, mate! I've been so busy too!! I'm doing this horror fest and NaNo next month (buddy me!) and I feel overwhelmed so I feel ya!

I've been having such a hard time hitting everyone's blogs and whatnot. That's what I'm trying to do right now. Eeek!

Yay for Nanowrimo! This month will be interesting and maybe by November everyone will be good at updating :)

Blue Willow Bookshop sounds charming! Now I want to go to Houston just to visit the bookshop–and meet you of course, Jen!

I'm doing NaNoWriMo again this year, too! Though I don't know what I'm writing yet, lol. My name is Sunshine21. Friend me!!!

I was checking out the NYT best seller lists for a post I'm doing next Friday, and "Halo" is #6 on the children's chapter books best seller list. So cool she's an 18 year old bestselling author!

I'm doing both Na events as well.
And I'm grateful I can blog from work (most days) as I'd never keep up otherwise.

I envy you your town. So many interesting authors are coming to visit. You want to know how much of a literary wasteland my town is?

The only author they have is me.

Now, that's a wasteland! LOL Roland

Good luck with your many responsibilities!

Don't get overwhelmed and have a great week!

I love independent bookstores! There are no many around where I live but I try to support them as much as I can.

Next time I'm in Houston I check out Blue Willow.
