For goblins, all I can think of is the horrific '80s film Hobgoblins, which was neither fun nor creepy!

Goblins, Gaius became one in Merlin which was fun.

Miserable goblins in Harry Potter :O)

I think anything can be creepy or fun. Take puppets for instance. Most of the time, cute. Chucky...not so cute. You can take the most hideous animals in the world and make a cute cartoon out of them. Goblins...could go either way. Give them some long eyelashes, puppy dog eyes...no, your right. Still creepy.

I just saw Paranormal Activity today and I didn't find as terrifying as I thought I would. Of course, I did watch it in broad daylight.

The Ring definitely needs to be added onto the creepy list.

Nightmare before Christmas: fun

Hocus Pocus: fun

Anything Goosebumps: SO much fun! And a tad creepy.

I wish I could go to Hogwarts for Halloween. Heck, I wish I could go to Hogwarts ANY time!

I agree with Heather. Anything can be creepy -- take my home cooking for one thing!

Come check out my entry in Roh Morgon's MONSTER MASH BLOGFEST. It's short and the prologue to my new YA urban fantasy, THE LEGEND OF VICTOR STANDISH.

Have a great Halloween that's all treat and no trick!

But what about the goglins in the movie 'Labyrinth'? They were goblins weren't they? It's been ages since I watched the film but I remember them being good guys. Or maybe I have it totally wrong.

The movie Pumpkin Head, though it's not a scarecrow. Crow-it's half of scarecrow...? Hmmmm, fun but difficult. Casper-fun. Ghostbusters-fun.

I can't think of any more off the top of my head, but this is fun!

Oooh, goblins creep me out. And scarecrows do, too, even the one in the Wizard of Oz--I know, I have issues.

I still haven't seen Paranormal Activity because I'm worried that I'll never be able to sleep again if I watch it - lol.
