work space fun

So the other day several blogs were sharing their work space with everyone... some were cozy, some were disorganized and exciting! Mine is organized and neat... And nice and open... here are a few pictures for you too enjoy!!!

I can see the freeway out of one set of my windows and a green patch that becomes a lake when it rains on the other! I love my space! We do have a computer room in the apartment, but I feel constricted and blocked from inspiration when I am trapped in there!!!

Feel free to share your spaces! I would love to see them!

Well for now I have a little writing to do before my daytime job, and I am currently reading a new book titled A bump in the road, by Maureen Lipinki so I will try and check out everyone's blogs later! I love to comment, just like I love your comments!!!!

Happy Blogging!

I'm not ready to post a picture of my writing space. What I can say is it's WAY different from yours!LOL

That IS really neat! I couldn't handle that...I keep mine fairly near, except for a bar of chocolate and ALL my candles!

Mine is very messy! I like how you have so much light from the windows. Very nice!

It's so fun to see where you write. You are so neat!! I'm looking around me as I type, and there's no way I can photograph this mess today, LOL. If I were to describe it, though, I'd tell you there is a huge stack of books teetering to my left (if I bump the desk, it may fall on my head); my coffee mug from this morning sits next to the one from yesterday afternoon; three notebooks lay open one on top of another; the paperclips spilled last week and are still scattered about; my son's giant pencil (a souvenir from someplace) is to my right, wedged between nail clippers and my overflowing rolodex; my daughter's sewing project covers my printer, and there are two....hang on, three empty tissue boxes -- all on my desk! (*sigh*) Maybe I'll straighten up today....

Fun post! Thanks for sharing :))

Your set up is a dream!

Good news, on the 15th my hubby gets his yearly bonus and he is buying me a laptop for Valentine's Day. Isn't that the most romantic thing ever? I will be able to move out of my pit of a writing hole with the laptop to somewhere more conducive to my goals. *sighs with pleasure* I can barely wait!

I'll have to re-post my space when I pick a new one. I hope it doesn't turn out to be my closet.

Well, I write in my bedroom, in a small corner, but outside my window, I have a view of one of the Sierra Madre mountains. So, I'm lucky.

Nicole - I wouldn't be able to handle a space with too many things around, so I am impressed!!!

Charity - How romantic!!! I love it! I can't wait to see a picture when it's set up and picked out!!! Lets hope it isn't the closet, lol!

Ann - Wow you are super lucky!!! I have a freeway... not that I am complaining, I chose it over the bus station, plus I get inspiration watching the cars pass, but my creative juices would certainly be flowing with the mountains out my window!

Looks very practical and neat. I like having a lot of natural lighting. You might have seen my post on this a couple weeks ago, but if not you can see my workspace at:

I love your writing space! Mine is, well, quite the opposite. So I don't think I'll post a picture of it, unless I go into massive cleaning mode:)

Haha, no way I am showing anyone my workspace. It's very cramped and cluttered. I can't work if it's too tidy. :-P

It's so clean! My workspace is scrunched up on the couch in front of the television. :P

Oh your work space is so nice! I can't imagine what mine would look like without inches of decaying paper scraps covering all surfaces~ haha

And thank you for the comment! I hope the photos turn out well too~ I'll post them when I can ^^

You are so neat and tidy. My work space varies--if I really need to buckle down, I head upstairs but otherwise it's on the couch! Thanks for sharing yours.

I love your writing space. It looks so comfortable and open. I just created mine and it's not quite right yet. I've only used it once and it didn't inspire me very much. I think I need some more pictures and knick-knacks.

You are so neat! I think I'd be embarrassed to show off my work space. It's kind of a disaster. But most of the mess isn't mine, I promise. :)

You guys are fantastic!!! And you all make me laugh!!! I have an organized space, and my friends say that my house isn't "lived in" I am a little bit of a neat freak! Luckily my husband doesn't mind!!!

Oh and I love all my windows!!!

Your desk, so clean and neat. Is it really like that always or was it photo opp day? I need to define a particular space because I read on someone's blog the other day that going to the same spot can train your brain to turn the muse on.

It is always that clean, lol... I don't like to work in a messy area, I can't work when it is super cluttered!
