This is one of my favorite days! I love truth thursdays!
1. I wear socks to bed every evening only to find them underneath my pillow in the morning.
2. I talk before I fall asleep, completley random thoughts until poof I'm out like a light.
3. When I have migraines I like to sleep in the closet... the darkest place in the house
4. My husband and I have never spent more than $20 on a bed
5. I prefer crushed ice, my husband prefers cubed
6. I don't watch war movies, they aren't my cup of tea
What are your truths?!

How is it you mananged to never spend more than $20 on a bed? I mean...wow.
Here's one truth about me: I don't watch TV at all. Writing (and my daughters horse) has ever last hour of my life consumed. ;-)

$20 on a bed? Hmmmmm.
I used to get migraines but I don't anymore when I discovered they were caused by neck problems and I started going to a chiropractor.
I hate shoes and go barefoot as often as possible.
My truth: E and I caved on night 3 of our cleanse and got Arby's. *wince* We felt rather ill afterwards, and went crawling back to the cleanse food, begging for forgiveness.
Also, I really want a Cadburry egg. I'm going to buy some Easter candy today, and save it for after the cleanse.
1) I sometimes have to wear an eye mask to bed because my girlfriend works at a restaurant and comes home to watch TV until 2AM. My shift starts at 6AM.
2) I'm told I talk in my sleep.
3) I don't get migraines, but my heartburn can get pretty bad.
4) I'm not married but my GF and I own our home together, have been together for 14 years and have one lovely daughter (the other is a teenager).
5) My teeth are WAY too sensitive for crushed ice. Smoothies are nice though.
6) I love almost all kinds of movies, but prefer books over all.
My truths:
1. I used to have conversations in my sleep (actual with someone when they entered my room), don't know if I still do.
2. I hate migraines (get them all the time), but I haven't tried sleeping in a closet yet.
Justine & Bish - Yes I've just gotten that lucky over the years, and only one had been used (for a few months) the other was brand new
Summer - Way to get back up on your feet and try again! After cleansing falling into the Arbys death trap is inevitable, but also painful!
Matthew - Sounds like my husband and I, I have to be up by 5:30am and my hubby gets home anywhere from 1am-3am!
Cheree - You sound like me! Closet works great, trust me!! Plus mines super comfy!
Love your #1. So funny! My truth for the day? I cannot form a coherent sentence until after 1 full cup of coffee in the morning. I am coffee addict.
Yes on the crushed ice. Hilarious about the socks!
That sock thing is just hilarious! And I'm with you on the war movies :)
I don't know what my truth is, I'm kinda boring.
here's one, but it's no socks under the pillow.
I can't sleep at night unless my sheets on the bed are as straight as I can get them. Wrinkles drive me crazy!!!
Yes, crushed ice is sooo much better!
I'm at school on the computer. So far, I'm still alive! :)
One of my truths: When I was young, I used to wear these certain type of socks inside out. There was always this itchy thing in them, so I turned them inside out. And only this certain kind!
Happy Thursday!
xx,
~Abby~
I totally agree with your #1, #5, and #6.
My 6 Truths:
1. I lay on my roof most nights and sleep there. I find it peaceful sleeping under the stars.
2. I'm obessed with India
3. I secretly wish I could be a ballerina again.
4. My place where I do my best thinking is my toilet-seat.
5. I buy Vogue, Harpers Baazar, Vanity Fair, & Glamour only to rip them apart for the ads to paste on my walls.
6. I never want to get married
the socks thang is just too crazy.
I used to get migraines but I got rid of that spouse. yea me!
I talk in my sleep, my Beloved says it's more like cussing and my Baby Girl says I bark - Beloved says it's more like wimpering.
I think they are both wrong!
Ha! how fun. I start w/ socks on, too but then find them down in the covers or stuck between the mattress and foot board :)
I love the sock truth! Why under your pillow? I wonder what's at work in your subconscious there. Do you secretly hope there's a Sock Fairy, cousin of the Tooth Fairy, that will come and leave you money in exchange for your stinky socks? Hmm. I think you should ponder that, Jen. :D
My truths:
1. I could make an entire meal out of nothing but condiments. I love em. When we first started dating my husband thought it was great, cuz I was a cheap date. He just threw me a couple of ketchup packets and I was happy. lol
2. Allegedly, I sleep on my back with one leg bent, then spend all night trying to keep it from falling to the side in a quick jerking motion, causing the bed to shake and awaken my perturbed hubby. I think it's a lie.
I wear socks to bed too! But most the time they stay put. The talking thing - I do it all the time, sometimes my husband tells me the funny things I said the next day. I never knew I was so hilarious. =)
great truths, I wear socks to bed, but they end up breeding down at the end and sheet-change day I find a whole herd of them.
I love learning more about bloggers.

Hehe... Let's see, my truths would be
1) When my hubby talks in his sleep, I make him have conversations. He'll say the oddest things.
2) I never read Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit until the first movie came out. And I'm a fantasy author.
3) I can't stand people who chew with their mouth open. I lose my appetite.
4) I also like to go barefoot as much as possible.
5) I've been married 3 times. (No more! Third time is the charm!)
6)I drive waay too fast. :D
$20 on a bed, that's amazing.
Truth: I can't stand it when people sniff, blow their nose or anything involving the nose. It's like fingers on a chalkboard for me.
Never spent more than $20 on a bed? How do you do that? I'd like to do that. I need a new mattress right now and am putting it off and putting it off.
Jai
What a fun list, Jen! Nice to learn more about you. :)
I have to wear socks to bed. Cannot stand the feeling of sleeping barefoot. I get migraines too, and you're right, it has to be dark! Oh, but... I prefer ice cubes, not crushed. :-P
I like truth Thursdays, too. It's fun to get to know interesting facts about people. I like to go to my closet when my kids are driving me crazy. (Our house is crowded with eight of us living there. Closets are great escapes.) I also find that my writing hobby has interfered with my reading. I tend to see the mechanics of the craft now and it distracts me from just enjoying the book. Does that ever happen to you? Thanks for dropping by my blog. :)
Had to smile at the sock thing. Under the pillow eh?
When stressed I walk in my sleep. It has gotten me into a few embarrassing situations that I hear about the next morning, though I sometimes wonder….
Jen!!! You are adorable!.
I can't go to sleep without wearing socks, no matter how hot it is!
I talk to my teddy bears every night, while I drink green tea!!'
LOVE!
Oh, I love crushed ice! It's kind of a rarity here, though.
Hm, my truth? I'm scared of the dark! Seriously, just think of everything that's lurking around there just waiting to pounce...
no way, you sleep in a CLOSET??? how do you manage tht??
I adore crushed ice. Especially when it comes as a complete surprise in some hole in the wall joint. Someday I will have a fancy fridge and have all the crushed ice I want!
Oh, ick at the socks! I hate wearing socks, especially in bed (my mom used to make me when it was winter). *shudder* I'm a Croc or sandal girl, all the way now!
My truth? I'm so tired right now, I look like a raccoon.
I'm a socks in bed kinda girl too.
Your list of truths is fun. Mine, hmm, I'm too tired to think of one. Have a great weekend!
You guys rock! I'm glad you all enjoyed my sock craze, I can't explain it, it just happens!!! I should look into what it means but I'm sure I'd rather not know!!
I love going barefoot.
I wear work boots without socks.
I never sleep in socks unless it's incredibly cold.
That said, I have actually awakened in the morning to find that I'm inexplicably wearing totally different clothes than what I had on when I went to bed...
My twin sister and I used to eat cups of crushed ice. Just plain crushed ice. We also ate uncooked pasta.
I've gotten to the point where I'm actually afraid of getting excited, even when I get a request for full from an agent, because I'm waiting for the ouch of rejection and it hurts more when I've gotten hopeful...
My bro in-law has accused me of 'form rejecting myself' before I even open an email because of the above listed fear...
Truth ~ I have never been given a speeding ticket. Plenty of warnings, but no actual tickets. :)
That's so odd about the sock thing.
What a fun post!! Let's see...my truth for today is I drink water with every meal. No ice cubes -- I like to gulp my water and they get in the way. Plus, they hurt my teeth, and too-cold water gives me a brain freeze.
I get migraines too... haven't thought of sleeping in the closet. I'll have to give that a try!
I love Truth Thursdays! What's up with the socks under the pillow? That is too funny! I wear socks to bed in the winter (and they stay on all night), but one of my favorite parts about warm weather is going to bed barefoot.
Crushed ice is awesomespice.
Hubs and I have never spent any money on a bed. (Nah-na-na-nah-nah.)
We've only ever had the hand-me-downs.
Yes, it's Friday now... but I love Truth Tuesdays. I do not love that you are at the end of my reader and that I am always late posting.
