Since we’re on the query train and it seems to be continuing this week I figured I’d make all my truths writing and query related. I think you found out yesterday a lot of my TYPE A personality… my structure, so on and so forth. But here’s the rest.
1. I am not a procrastinator. Many of you email me throughout the day so you know this. I have to have a deadline or structure. Even if it’s sitting at home for the weekend. I must know in advance. Yeah… I’m that girl.
2. I twitter like there is no tomorrow. Yes. I watch agents. I see how their moods are. If their genre choice changes. I want that query ready to go in their hands at the right moment. Sometimes it works… sometimes it doesn’t.
3. Blogger is addicting. As are the agent blogs within them. I will read entry after entry on why you’re being rejected, to the perfect query letter. They have such knowledge (because naturally they know what you want). I may have not cared at the beginning but now it’s all I think about.
4. For the love of funny. I love agent blogs who are downright hysterical… Case in point: Getting past the gatekeeper. Her honesty and funnies keep me going back for more.
5. In which I dream. Yes I dream about being agented. I’m one of those BIG believers. The one’s where the agents loves you so much they fly to see you. Hey, it’s happened before. I can at least live through someone.

Truth Thursdays
I hope you guys enjoy these? Sometimes I really struggle with coming up with truths. I really need to keep a truth notebook around my house for random days so that days when it escapes me I have back-ups. Alas we shall move forward where I embarrass myself (or not) in sharing my truths.
1. I've never flown by myself. This weekend I will. I'm terrified.
2. I love small cereal boxes for breakfast. I can't eat as soon as I get up so they're portable and that makes me happy.
3. I want to purchase a fake window to put on my desk. You know the one's that blow up and have a picture window with grass and a tree. It'll be better than the white walls.
4. All co-workers are strange. One who takes excessive smoke breaks, one who re-wears his newly purchased shirt every day (not sure if it's washed), one that calls you 'money' even though you don't have any idea what it means. Yeah, we all have them.
5. I like listening to random radio stations. I'll google a different city and pretend I'm there while listening from 6-10am. Thank you Chicago, North Carolina, and New York for your radio hosts. They keep me smiling.

Truth Thursdays
Today is a bit more detailed, between flowers and motion sickness I reveal my usual strange, adorable, quirky self.
Enjoy!
1. I love lillies, there is something calming and beautiful about them (then again aren't all flowers just divine)?
2. I love the beach. Galveston, Texas may have dirty water, and other Houstonians may not get near it but there is something about swimming near dolphins and just enjoying the atmosphere that keeps me going back (that and being from Iowa, a beach is a beach).
3. I love the 'would you rather' questions. My husband has a calendar full of them and every day we ask eachother what we'd rather. We hardly agree.
4. A pet peeve of mine is too many shoes laying around in the house. My one weakness is leaving too many shoes out. What's a girl to do?
5. I love fruity cocktails but I don't like to feel the buzz. I love to fly but hate the motion. I love the feeling of wind against my skin while traveling on a boat, but it makes my stomach queasy. Solutions? None, just continue enjoying the cocktails, flying, and letting the wind hit my face.

Truth Thursdays
I love the blogging world. It is amazing, heart warming, and kind place to be. The support of all the people on the blog continue to amaze me, so today my truths are all about the bloggers.
1. Yesterday's post rocked. Being apart of something that EPIC is why I love blogger and all my besties. Did you answer yesterday's question? (Yes, I'm cryptic for a reason, go check it out).
2. Stalking bloggers keeps me from stalking my neighbors. Thank you peeps for keeping it interesting, without you I think my husband would have already had me institutionalized.
3. Those who talk about food make me hungry. No, I am not complaining just make sure when you do talk about food you include pictures (because I like the torture).
4. Fun titles make me skip everyone else. Yup, I'll skip you for the girl who talks about balls... you know who you are.
5. Vlogs don't scare me and neither do mad libs... this girl keeps me on my blogging toes with her awesome.
