Truth Thursdays

Shout-out: Ellie is celebrating 200 followers! She has a super fun and easy way to enter!! Go (after you read this post).

Another edition of Truth Thursdays, one of my favorite days of the week! I can find out so many interesting things about others, but only if I dish a few of my own. So here we go!

1. I bought US Weekly this week purely based on the fact that Sandra Bullock was on the front (lie. I also saw the Housewives of Beverly Hills and couldn't tell myself no).
2. After I finish a manuscript I always write a small dedication and acknowledgements that I'd like to see on the book. I fear that one day I'll forget everyone I want to thank (that, and it's part of the dreaming process).
3. The last book I wrote (In the Mind of a Celebrity Stalker) has me talking like my character. I've become a journal junkie and I like to keep up with celebrities (typical Jules).
4. I went and saw a movie by myself this weekend. I hadn't done that in at least three years. I'm going more often from now on. I saw Tangled (I'm a wimp, can't see anything too scary in the theaters). It was cute. I enjoyed it.
5. This week I deemed Sunday, Harry Potter day. I had a little marathon. It was fun. You should try it.

So what are your truths? You like doing dinner and a movie alone?

i'Ve LoSt My MiNd... SeRiOuSlY

Are you curious?

Wondering how I've lost my mind yet?

I've joined NaBloWriMo. Yup, I did.

For those of you unaware it means I'll be writing everyday... and I mean EVERYDAY for the month of October. I don't expect everyone to comment away, after all some days the posts might really suck. I hope they won't. But they might.

Okay so weekends are for fun. Well I would like to think every day here is fun, but on Saturday and Sunday they will be mindless. I'll talk of movies, candy, fall, anything I want. So are you ready?

Since we've fallen into October, and you know it's my favorite thing, it only makes sense that I share my favorite things... HEY... maybe on the weekends I'll post my favorite things *makes notes*

Favorite FALL Movies...

You've Got Mail
Meg Ryan, Tom Hanks, the perfect holiday combination. (Owning a beautiful bookshop helps!)

Step Mom
Susan Sarandon, Julia Roberts, the perfect holiday combination. (Makes you laugh, cry, and want the family connection in the end!)

While you were Sleeping
Peter Gallagher, Sandra Bullock (noticing a trend) the perfect holiday combination. (Romance, unobtainable men, awesome family, what's not to love!)

Sleepless in Seattle
The duo are at it again! Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan continuing to swoon woman all over the nation!

saturday quiet time

I woke up this morning feeling fantastic and fresh, my husband however did not. He is not feeling well and is still resting. We don't make a habit of sleeping in, more or less because we wake up to early to do so! However with him currently sleeping that leaves me plenty time to do what I want.

There are so many options I don't even know what to choose!!! I of course have chosen to read blogs, one of my new favorite things to do! Sex and the city is on in the background, what can I say I can't get enough of that Carrie Bradshaw! I plan on writing a letter to a friend, I haven't hand written a letter in years but when I recieved one in the mail yesterday I loved it and though I'd return the favor! I also have several books I'd like to read so that will most likely take up quite a bit of time as well!

What are your plans for Saturday? It's cold here in Houston,TX so staying inside is first on the list, I know some of you have snow though... are you going sledding?!
