So I'm switching it up this week, instead of Tuesday Twist I am going to share a snippet from The Collector again. I would have done it yesterday but the collages are new and I was dying to share them!!! So without further ado... the next installment of The Collector.
I loved them all. Each and everyone one of them. Some gave me more trouble than others, but I was strong enough to take them on. It wasn't easy keeping it a secret, I prefered the life I lived that no one knew about, but I also know if I wanted to enjoy it then I would have to keep quiet.
I had been watching her for weeks, and just like every Monday at 10PM she was walking her dog and setting her trash out for morning pick up. I had learned that night was the best time to watch them. No one around to nose around in your business. I would grab her garbage and sift through the until I found something worth reading. I needed to know what their lives were like, what they enjoyed doing, how many people would know if they were missing.
That was the key. Kidnapping... not killing. No one knew they died, no one knew I would keep them, hold them, torture them, until I was done. They remained on the Missing Persons Report, and always in a county I did not reside in. I always watched these mediocre people at work, seeing on the news that they left evidence behind. I remained clean, almost a bit neurotic, but it is what needed if you don't want to get caught.
And I don't want to get caught.
--Hope you enjoyed!--
