My Quirky Bucket List

People have been fascinated by my make-shift bucket list so I thought I'd share today. Consider this my truth Thursday.

1. I want to own hand towels that have every day written on them (Mon, Tues, etc). I want to then place them in the guest bathroom when a visitor arrives and see if they'll keep up on the days.
2. Watching someone get lips tattooed on their ass. (This one has already been completed... which is why it made my list).
3. Every place I visit (state wise) try a new cupcake shop. (This will really be until I hit the bucket so it's ongoing for life!)
4. Getting back into in-line skating... (my version of being a safe and chicken shit roller derby girl).
5. Create a haven for writers/bloggers that I'll one day be able to open and we'll get to have a weekend retreat... (this one I'd obviously need all my besties to join in on, but I'd love to do it before I die).

So it's small for the moment, but it'll continue to grow.

What's on your quirky bucket list?

I'm not even going to ask about the lips and the butt...
I have a safe haven for writers online but a real life one would be cool. Get it done, Jen.

I'd like to eat a hot-dog at every major league ball park in the US. :)

Can the writers retreat be on a tropical island? I'm ready for a vacation.

A writers retreat would be awesome. I just found out about a bunch of write-ins going on in Paris over the month of November for Nanowrimo

Yeah, number 2 sounds like a really fun blog post topic.

Revealing Jen.

I think dinosaur fossil hunting with our kids out West in Utah or something is near the top for me right now.

That last one is awesome.

I want to won an yatch. And a beach house. I'm sorry I can't come up with the quirky ones. Mine mostly end up being lofty and ridiculous.

My bucket list includes going to Italy where I still have family I never met, and tracing my family tree. Oh and as for the retreat, tropical sounds good to me too. :-)

I know a couple of tropical islands where we could go for that retreat.

I really want to go to Scotland to trace family roots, visit haunted castles, wander along Lock Ness, and generally experience Scotland first hand.

I would like to have a sign in my home that tells people to take their shoes off before they come in, but SOMEONE ONE (the hubs) is the major violator. It'll be years before I get one.

Hhmm, my bucket list...that's a hard one. I really haven't actually taken the time to write one, but I definitely have some wishes and desires!
1) Sky Diving (and I'm afraid of heights!)
2) Travel in Canada & Alaska, Scotland and Wales
3) Have a "writing retreat home" in the Swiss Alps!

Hey, if you're gonna dream, dream big, right?! P.S. Let me know when your retreat is ready to visit! :)

Love that! I will totally go to your retreat once it's up and running :)

I like the inline skating one. I think it would be cool to be a roller derby girl but I'm kinda wimpy. Also the retreat thing would be very cool.

My bucket list would be around travelling and visiting places I've not been to. New Zealand for a start!

LOVE this bucket list! It made me laugh - especially the butt-lips tattoo :) I never really thought about making a bucket list, but maybe I should... I think I'd like to go ziplining in the jungle somewhere! Yes, that would be on the list!

For my bucket list, I would like to one day visit St. Tropez and Nice and Paris, France and especially visit Shibuya in Tokyo.

I haven't posted a bucket list but now I'm tempted to. I like yours. Little things can mean just as much as larger things.

Some I've already completed from mine would be: go to a great art school (grad school), and see a Cirque Du Soleil performance. There was also 'work at Disney World' which was pretty darn fun too.

ooo ooo! I've wanted to do #5, too! Maybe we could team up somehow once we're living the life... :D And I'd love to do that cupcake tour as well. Mmmm... :d <3

I want to come to your writer's haven too! Just as long as there are cupcakes but not butt/lip tattoos. :)

A writer's haven sounds awesome!

Haha, what a fun bucket list! I definitely need to follow that cupcake one. :)

I'd like to visit the writers of every blog I follow :-)

Tattoos on butts must be hard to keep nice in the long run.

I'd like to try different foods, especially travelling different places to try those foods. I had beef heart for the first time this week, so that can be checked off!

that's an interesting list -- my bucket list is pretty boring. It consists solely of travel destinations. I'm such a frustrated world traveler, it's not even funny.
