Today we have the fabulous Lynn Rush!!! Her novel Wasteland is out this month!!!! Take a look at the gorgeous cover! Who wouldn't say yes to that!
Blurb:
Bound by the blood contract his human mother signed four centuries ago, half-demon, David Sadler, must obey his demonic Master’s order to capture fifteen-year-old Jessica Hanks. But as he learns more about her, he realizes she may be the key to freedom from his demonic enslavement.
The only obstacle—Jessica’s distractingly beautiful Guardian, Rebeka Abbott. He must not give in to their steamy chemistry, or he will lose his humanity. But fresh off a quarter millennia of sensory deprivation as punishment for not retrieving his last target, he may not be able to resist temptation long enough to save what’s left of his human soul.
So let's dive into the fun and quirky questions!!!
1. What ingredients would you put on a belgian waffle? Oh, girl. You don’t want me NEAR a kitchen **holds up latest finger cut while attempting the domestic activity**
2. You are trapped in a mysterious castle, are you one to run or explore? What would be the first room you'd search for? I’m so NOT like my brave, strong charactersI’d run. But if I suddenly got a brave streak…I’d search out the highest tower to look for the view (I’m a sucker for great views…especially sunrises)
3. Have you ever used white-out to paint your nails? I did once just to see what it looked like. Smelled good, that’s for sure…*wink*
4. If you had the chance to wake up and live someone else's life for a day who would it be? (You can't say you wouldn't do that... it'd be cheating) Angelina Jolie. She’s always intrigued me. I so want to know what’s going through her brain!
5. Which shoe do you put on first? Left

Thank you Lynn!! (And Jen!)
No fair! I want to hear about the chocolate camera incident! In the interim, I'm off to read more about Wasteland!
Nothing like a good sunrise! Wasteland sounds like a fun read, thanks for another fun interview, Jen!
Yay, thank you for including us foreigners, gotta love e-books :-)
I never tippexed my nails (white out) but I did colour them black with permanent marker when I was younger, does that count?
This is a fun interview!
Thanks for posting it. Nice blog you have.
Jennifer, I need to learn your interview techniques. These are great, fun questions.
And Lynn, I almost choked on my coffee when you said you aren't brave. You may not *think* you are, but you are one of the strongest, bravest, most fearless people I know!
I used to paint my nails with white out in Spanish class! Haven't thought about that in a long time.
Sign me up for the giveaway!
HI, Elizabeth: Thanks for coming by. I'm totally notorious for cutting my finger or burning something until I have to chisel it from the bottom of the pan. LOL!!!
Samantha: Okay, I'll tell the chocolate camera incident in a separate comment. :)
Johanna: I'm addicted to sunrises! Anyone on FB or Twitter is probably like, "Jeez, ANOTHER picture..." LOL
Sarah: Yay!!! While it's fun to hold a book in my hand once in a while, I'm thoroughly addicted to my Nook!! LOL!!! Permanent marker...counts in MY book. :)
Hi, Ron!! Glad you stopped by!! :)
Kendall, you're so sweet.
Ashley: White out during Spanish class? Teacher must have not noticed the smell, huh? LOL.
***Thanks for coming by, everyone. You guys are rocking it!!!!***
fun interview and Wasteland sounds like a great read! Thanks to both of you!
Here's the chocolate camera incident a couple of you have asked me about.
I'm a sleep walker and talker, so one morning my hubby told me I'd been talking the previous night. He's been known to try and have a conversation with me while I'm sleep talking...
"What'd I say this time?"
"You were mumbling about cameras or taking pictures."
"And?"
"I asked you what kind of camera." Hubby smiles and shakes his head. "And you said, a *chocolate* camera."
So, evidently I dream in chocolate....YUM!
Fun interview Jen and Lynn, and the book sounds interesting.
I am all for a pool over a lake as well; especially a private one.
Paint your nails with white out? So weird! But, I've probably done it...
Hi Creepy Query Girl: Thanks for stopping by!! **waves from the desert**
Slamdunk: Yes, Jen does a GREAT interview, doesn't she? LOL. Ohhh....much fun to be had in a private pool! :)
Clarissa: Weird is COOL!!! Join the club! :)
Woot!!
Hi Jen and Lynn!
Lynn, I love your cover--Midnight blue is gorgeous and the feather!! Nice! Your chocolate camera incident cracks me up. Nothing like sleepwalking/talking to keep the hubby on his toes!
Jen, loved your questions! So glad I found your site!
Beautiful cover! Great interview, I enjoyed it.
Awesome interview! I'll be smiling all day. :-)
Hi, JILL. Thanks. CMP did a great job designing the cover, didn't they? I was super happy with it!!!
Nicole: Thanks for stopping by, Nicole. **waves**
Shannon: Smiling is good! Have a fantastic day!
Your books sounds great, Lynn. And awesome questions, Jen! I wish summer wasn't over so I could go swimming in a pool...or a lake would be a okay, too.
I want to know about the chocolate camera incident...
Another fab interview! How do you do it, Jen? And white-out to paint nails... now that brings back memories! :)
Congrats to Lynn!
Hi, Laura. Thanks for stopping by. It's just cooling down enough here in the desert for people to use their pools again. The water gets almost too warm in the summer :)
Alex: I posted the chocolate camera incident above. :) I chuckle every time I think of that.
Talli: **waves from the desert** Thanks for dropping by!
Another fun interview! Okay, another question for you, Lynn:
Summer or Winter?
Have a fantastic day!
:) Erin (I'll stay outta the book drawing since I already have 2 ;) )
Funny, I always figured you for a domestic diva, great in the kitchen. Now we know. Thanks for a fun interview
I saw a chocolate typewriter once (it made me want to eat my words).
Fun, fun interview. :)
Oh my gosh, what a fun interview! Thanks, ladies!
Other people have used white-out to paint their nails? It's not just me? I feel so much better!
Fun interview, ladies!
I love Lynn Rush. Nice giveaway. But what the heck is the chocolate camera incident...
I'm totally a sleep talker. My husband says I sound like a 15 year old boy in my sleep. Hmm...
ERAIN14: **waves** Ohhh....can I say Spring? Just kidding. I'm so torn. The winter here in the desert allows me to sit out on my patio and write, where it's too hot to do that in the summer...so I'm going to have to choose winter right now. But I DO LOVE the heat.... LOL. :)
Lindsay: Me? Domestic? Oh dear. No. We have to put the fire department on alert when I roam into the kitchen with the intent to make dinner. *lol*
Tricia: Bahahahahahaha! That's awesome! LOVE it!
LBDiamond: Thanks for coming by!
Jennifer: Nope. Not just you. We're all in the the White Out Club together! *sniff, sniff*
Christa: HI!! LOL. I described the chocolate camera incident further up in the comment section. Check it out. It's funny. Well, at least I think so. LOL!!!
***Hey, everyone. So, this blog stop today is part of my Wasteland Blog Tour...you can win a Kindle or Amazon gift card...swing over to my blog to check it out. Plenty of time to earn entries***
Hey Lynn. Loved the interview. If I had a choice between rock climbing or cliff jumping, I don't know what I'd choose. Heights scare the daylights out of me.
Love the cover to Wasteland and the story sounds intriguing.
Hah! Those interview questions were so fun. I loved reading through them. :) Oh, and every time I see the cover for Wasteland, I squeal like a fangirl. :D
Are you a lefty, Lynn? Also, what is this chocolate camera thing?
the book is beautiful! how awesome! congrats to her!
This is a fantastic comment section! I have loved reading everything in here! (Thank you so much Lynn for explaining about the chocolate! You knew you were not going to get away with NOT telling us about that!! LOL)
Donna: I'm not fond of either, but I had to choose one. **silly grin** so I chose the lesser of two evils. **LOL** I'm not very daring by nature when it comes to those things. Now...get me on a road bike or mountain bike...different story. :)
Carrie: Yeah, they were fun to answer. Jennifer's so creative!
Ciara: **waves** I am actually both....:) I can use both hands for pretty much anything, including writing. :) Oh, I answered the chocolate camera incident up in the comments earlier. It's kinda funny! LOL!!
Thanks for swinging by, you guys, it's super fun celebrating Wasteland's release with you all!!!
I tried to leave a message on here earlier, but I guess it didn't take.. :(
But it was a lovely interview, and Im glad we all got to hear about the chocolate!! You knew you would have to tell us about that! :)
I so agree - I'd love to know what's going on in Angelina Jolie's brain. Not to mention, a day as Brad Pitt's other half wouldn't be so bad, either!
HI, Dranea. You made it....Yeah! Seems Blogger has ben acting funny lately! Nice to see you here. I did mention more deets about the chocolate camera up in the comments earlier. Check it out. It's kinda funny.
Susan: Yeah, being Brad Pitt's other half wouldn't be too bad, huh? LOL!!!!
The cover is fab and the interview a giggle.... thank you! x
What a fun interview. Thanks for explaining about the chocolate camera. That one would of kept me wondering. I remember painting my fingernails with magic markers when I was younger.
LOL Lynn that chocolate camera deal is just too funny! I've known a couple of sleep talkers/walkers, even had a friend that could sleep with his eyes open which was just creepy, but all are very entertaining to say the least. =)
