Writer, Writer, Pants on Fire

Mindy McGinnis stops by Unedited today. She's fabulous and everyone should know it! She's the owner of the awesome blog Writer, Writer, Pants on Fire. You all know when someone stops by we don’t ask the usual questions. That’s right, because I’m an unusual being (once seen as a negative, now viewed as a positive). So let’s get started on all things random.

Showing the Real Mindy

1. What guy’s name do you find sexy? Jack. It’s a ROMANCING THE STONE thing.

2. Do you like that manhole covers are always round? If you were to be more creative what shape would you choose and why? A triangle. It’ll add to the whole Illuminati mystique.

3. If Hollywood made a movie about your life, what would be the plot? No idea on plot, but I can say genre-wise it would definitely not be a romantic comedy. And it would have be animated. Just cause I say so.

4. If you were a salad, what kind of dressing would you be? Ranch. Yum-yum calories!

5. If you were forced to steal something, what would it be? Why would you choose it? A book. A really old one that there was only one copy of or something. Because I’m qualified to care for it much better than whatever museum it’s in.

One-Word Randoms

Elevator or Escalator: Escalator
Black or Striped Cat: BUH-lack
Writer or Reader: Ouch
Dancer or Singer: Neither
Query or Synopsis: Query!

Isn't she amazing? If you don't follow her, you should do so now... she's AWESOME!

Cute. I laughed at Jack. I told my daughter never to trust guys named Jack or Max, they are always the knuckleheads of the classroom.

Loved the questions and answers. Where DO you come up with these, Jen?! Hi Mindy, great to meet you!

I love this post! If I was forced to steal something, I think that I would choose a book too.

I might have to question Mindy's judgment on Jack....but the rest of the answers were delightful!

Writer or Reader...gosh...I don't know how I'd answer that one.

Christa, Vicky - Yeah, but a Jack is a good guy to have in your corner if you're in peril. Try shouting, "RUPERT!!" It doesn't work.

Becky - Hi! :)

Spangle - Yeah. I'm not a sticky fingers, but if libraries didn't exist...

Anita - I know!! Really!!!

For a period of my life I used to go by the name Jack. It was kind of a weird alias that I chose.

Reading these makes me think of The Dating Game. And I'd say Itallian dressing because I'm zesty! Yes, I'd really disappoint someone...

I'm nervous around elevators and escalators! And I totally agree, I'd rather write a query any day than a synopsis.

Your questions were great and Mindy's answers awesome to but writer or reader ouch indeed, how could anyone possibly choose.

Awesome! Yay for Mindy, and I'm thinking triangle manhole covers would be interesting... my movie would be slapstick, I'm just sure of it.

But hey! I heard those striped cats are the sweetest~ :o) <3

Yes, seriously ? Who asks a librarian-writer a "either / or" writer-reader question? Geez, Louise :)

Thanks everyone for dropping in, and BIG thanks to Jen for hosting me!
