Dreaming Crazy

ZoMbIeS... MoNsTeRs... FaIrIeS... WiTcHeS... WiZaRdS

It appears my dreams have been taken over by all different types of characters lately. I'll say it's been one wild ride this week!!

A the beginning of the week ZoMbIeS were roaming throughout a school hallway having "ZoMsTer" fights with MoNsTeRs. They were rivals... go figure.

FaIrIeS envaded my dreams mid-week where I dreamt of a distant land named Ralsina, evil fairies had their wings clipped for monitoring, and a young fairy named Fina whose given the opportunity of a lifetime being sent out of the kingdom and into the human world. It's fun until she's locked out of her world and forced to live among humans. Not everyone is kind in High School.

Sadie showed up at the end of the week. Which brings up the world of WiTcHeS and WiZaRdInG World. For those who don't know her or our relationship read here. She's decided she's ready to talk so I'm listening. Low and behold she is a badass who has an agenda, to take Veronica down for making her life a living hell.

Stories are brewing, good things to come for the remainder of the summer and most certainly into the fall... and I'm sure you will all be happy to hear that the collector should be back come those winter months... october is such an eerie month that I think he'll be creeping back up.

What stories do you have brewing?

I wish I had more stories like these brewing! Unfortunately for me, only one usually takes over and stays put until it's finished and it's always contemporary.
Ps, love your pic so much I put it on today
s post:)

I've been dreaming of Tony and Pete since Saturday. I'm writing their big fight scene and it's complicated. Ugh. I can't wait til this book is finished. It's so hard. lol

How exciting that your characters are making so many nocturnal visits! Best of luck with your writing.

I've got a new short brewing, and I got about 300 experimental words down yesterday before I accidentally deleted my blog template, leading to a lost afternoon fixing my error. Sheesh!

Have a great day!

Aw, your pic is so adorable. I love it! <3 And yay for great dreams and inspiration and imagination. I have no doubt you will be finishing these three with characters that loud and plots that are so fun and thought out. I can't wait to hear more on The Collector though *creepy* (but I love it)
So glad to hear your getting so much done, that always feels awesome to get scenes completed or to dream them up. Its the closest thing to magic sometimes ;)
Emailing you soon!

None at the moment! I'm torn between starting on the sequel to my unedited ms, (not sure this is a good idea). Or possibly trying my hand at a sci-fi. I'm going to Roswell Sun. Maybe, I'll give the sci-fi more thought after that.

ha, I've been thinking about zombies lately too - not killer ones though. Guess my zombies are kind of boring. :) Very creative ideas.

LOL, well my stories aren't really brewing yet, though I'm trying everything to get my characters to talk!

I have a yet to be finished little MG story about a witch and a crow complete with illustrations that has taken a back burner to the current kids in my YA who are yelling at me to finish their story. Then, just last night a skater boi skidded in. I am not sure what he wants just yet, but I seriously cannot wait to hear it!!

ooohhh very interesting!!! Can't wait to see what comes of it!

Looks like you have wonderful ideas brewing and stewing! I always have ideas showing up when I least expect it. I write them down in a notebook and set it aside so I can concentrate on whatever I'm writing now. It's hard sometimes to decide to work on next, though! I wish I was a super fast writer so I could get everything written as soon as I thought about it, LOL!

I've had crazy dreams lately, too. Mostly stressful/ bad stuff! I want some of your dreams!

Ellie Garratt said...

Wow. What amazing dreams! Get them down on paper before they disappear into the ether.

I've just spent the last two hours writing a zombie story. LOL.

You're lucky you have such fun dreams! I've been daydreaming lately of a kind of supernatural story, not exactly wizards in a Harry Potter way, but just general magic users. Sad thing is, I don't think I can write fantasy. But it's fun to daydream.

So many great ideas in your dreams!

Lately mine have been my usual crazy mishmosh dreams:)

I love how you describe all the ideas stewing in your head. I've had quite a few pop into my head too recently but I'm quietly letting them stew still until I'm ready to let them out.

October does sounds like a perfect month for you to write!

I started something in May that I finally looked at this past Sunday. I even wrote a little more. When all the summer vacation activity slows, I want to keep going.

Awesome dreams! And great pic! Just returned from holiday, getting back into the routine...which I missed, actually.

Stories have been brewing for me lately too. Though, getting those stories on paper is a completely different thing.

Great dreams, though! I had a good one last night. All I'll say is it involved the Vampire Diaries boys. Sigh...

I always dream stuff that I want to write! But there are many tweaks and changes to make to the original dream concept for me to turn it into anything that works for fiction.

I had a funny dream about being an usually fast teenage girl with a poor mom who packed everything they owned up in a pickup truck to move to a near-abandoned rural town with a tiny high school that only had boy's sports team, and the girl's struggle to find a way to get into sports, especially with a sardonic jerk of a coach. I remember what the dream-apartment looked like. Isn't that weird?

Ya know what I forgot... the fact that your characters talk to you. I love it. So glad to know I am not the only nut in the bag.
And thank you... my blog title HAD to be witchy or nothing. lol
And... thank you for all the inspiration you have let drift my way.

Sounds like you've got some great ideas brewing! I've got three I'm playing around with right now, trying to decide which one to concentrate on next.

I will refrain from sharing my dream last night...it was gross.

haha, love it! I always have crazy dreams too! I had a dream last week that I was riding on a shark through the ocean like it was an amusement park attraction. He had a cut out seat in his back for me. haha.

I have vivid dreams after drinking lemongrass tea. Sometimes I drink a pint of the stuff and fall asleep repeating the mantra 'kelly brook, kelly brook' over and over.

i am yet to dream of her.

Yay for creepy October stories! I had a dream recently about killer owls, but I don't think I'll be writing about those :)

Rose Cooper said...

Awesome! I'm working on a new story right now...although I don't think I can mention it on here yet. It should be fun though. I LOVE your new ideas :)

Amy Holder said...

Your dreams are AMAZING! What a vivid imagination! Do you keep a pen and pad of paper next to your bed to jot everything down when you wake up? I hope you turn all of these ideas into full length novels! I'd read them! :)
